I really, really, really need to go to bed but I can't tear myself away from [livejournal.com profile] circusofwhores. It is way too funny and it's so INCREDIBLEEEEE YESSS to see other BioShock fans who are absolutely insane like myself, lololol. <3

Seriously, this is making me lmao. THE VIDEO. THE COMMENTING. I love playing Oscar way too much.

THERE WILL BE A CHAT TONIGHT. And by a chat I mean CVNC, D*C, RP, BBQ, all kinds of other acronyms and you know this all means lots of crazy. SO IF YOU WANT IN THEM IM ME. And I will also harass you all when I see you on. Because you know how good I am at harassment *wink wink nudge nudge say no more*---

Wait, what?

Last night was a grand old Xbox party with my sister (aka ValVal/Valerie/[livejournal.com profile] zoopiglet) and bro-in-law (aka BriBri/Brian/[livejournal.com profile] ben_ethus). Valerie fell asleep on the couch though cause they are both sick and she was too tired to play anything but Brian and I went and kicked some ass on BioShock 2 multiplayer. I love that thing way too much. I finally got to Rank 18 which is the ELEPHANT GUN rank and that plus machine gun plus Houdini plasmid = <3333333. Especially when playing Team Adam Grab. Now I just need to get to the rank where I can upgrade my elephant gun to have a SNIPER SCOPE. YOU KNOW HOW I LOVE ME SOME SNIPER ACTION. <3333

Then today (while being totally screwed up by daylight savings time :|) I played more Fallout 3. I'm about 97 hours now, still my first playthrough, and I just finished the Mothership Zeta DLC. It was amazing and hilarious. Especially having to blow up the actual mothership at the end with your little ragtag band of different-era misfits. XD

I got fabric for part of my TK outfit yesterday and the fabric for the back of the DT jumpsuits. I think I'll make a mockup of what they maybe could look like and then share with [livejournal.com profile] draelight and [livejournal.com profile] blood_sorbet before I put the paint to the fabric and MAKE SOME PRISON JUMPSUITS WOOP WOOP.

Okay SW random costume question: best color for random Jacen Solo outfit pre-LotF: light gray with a black undershirt, dark gray with a light gray undershirt or straight-up black with a gray undershirt. LOL THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT OR SOMETHING HELP PLZ. XD

EDIT: [livejournal.com profile] lusa_thul is blowing my mind and saying olive with a gray undershirt! I LIKE IT.

(I found the fabric today that I was gonna use to make a Vong robeskin for a Traitor!Jacen crossplay. I still want to do it soooo baaaaaad. jdsklafjkdjfkaljsd)

P.S. LEFT 4 DEAD DLC THE PASSING PREVIEW VIDEO ON XBOX. LOL GOLF CLUB MELEE WEAPON ELLIS GONNA BE BASHING SOME ANDREW RYAN'S, YO.

SO. Remember that Star Wars: EU/BioShock crossover I rambled about awhile back? Here, let me repeat the intro post for you I made awhile back, with some added info AND THEN GIVE YOU THE FIRST CHAPTER TO CELEBRATE THE NEWEST NEW BIOSHOCK 2 GAME. >D

I figure this post is needed for anyone who is into the Star Wars: EU (post-RotJ) and has no idea what the hell a BioShock is. I would do one of these for the Star Wars aspect of the story too, but there's really nothing Star Wars-specific to it. If you've read the EU, you'll know these characters and their traits. If you haven't then it'll just be like a cracktastical BioShock fanfiction, complete with crack, wtf moments and more crack. :D

Just a short little intro of many yays to TEH UNDERWTAER WOLRD OF BOISHOCK. XD

(And if you ever need to look up anything at all that you find in this story THE BIOSHOCK WIKI is a treasure trove. <333)

BIOSHOCK INTRODUCTION/GLOSSARY. )

And next is the CAST LIST DRAMATIS PERSONAE, LOL. Well, okay, not really. Just characters in/mentioned in the story. I mean some of these are characters who are only even just mentioned once -- and their Star Wars counterparts. I just had to make a list of Star Wars counterparts. MUAHAHAHAH~

Alana Dooley Soloman (Allana)
Andrew "Andy" Soloman (Anakin Solo)
Drake (Droekle)
Ezekiel/"Zeke" (Zekk)
Isaak (Isolder)
Jackson Fellows (Jagged Fel)
Jane Soloman (Jaina Solo)
Jase Soloman (Jacen Solo)
Karen Wells (Taryn Zel)
Kip Durant (Kyp Durron)
Kristin Wells (Trista Zel)
Louie (Lowbacca -- "Lowie")
Raymond Thurston (Raynar Thul)
Tanith Kendall Dooley (Tenel Ka Djo)
Teneil Dooley (Teneniel Djo)
Victoria "Torry" Tela (Tahiri Veila)

I... I may or may not be going through and making audio diary portrait photoshops of some of the characters. XD

LET'S GET ON WITH IT. STAR WARS/BIOSHOCK CROSSOVER MASH-UP.

(TECHNICAL THINGS!: Moth to the Flame -- Star Wars/BioShock; Jacen/Tenel Ka mainly, with a smattering of Anakin/Tahiri, Zekk/Trista, Jaina/Jag and SOME CRACK.)

MOTH TO THE FLAME: part one -- I don't think you're going to impress any ladies at the Garden smelling like that. )

(This chapter cut above includes Jase/Jacen being emo! Zeke/Zekk being a VENTCRAWLER SURPRISE! Miss Tanith K./Tenel Ka getting her ARM CRUSHED! And Andy/Anakin being FISHY SMELLING AND CUTE.)
tenel_ka: ([ bioshock - would you kindly ])
SO I FINISHED BIOSHOCK 2 THE OTHER NIGHT. And yeah, I cried. D: I don't know, something about the doll and the music and the expressions ajkdjfkasjdfasl. I got the good ending and reading about the bad (and super really bad) endings make me want to go back and get those now. They sound brutal.

I really, really liked BS2. People keep saying, "WAI WAI IT'S MORE OF THE SAME." Which is true, in a way. But that's the best part. BioShock wasn't necessarily broken. There was nothing to fix. You know the whole, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" thing? They really applied that here. But the cool thing here is that the few crap things that BioShock did have, they corrected.

The hacking pipeworld mini-game that took you out of the action? Replaced by a real-time, hand-eye coordination needle stop thing. And you don't have to be standing right beside something to hack it. Now you have a REMOTE HACK DART BEST TOOL EVER.

I also love the fact that you see the other side of Rapture here. The poor people. Not the people who worked hard like the fishermen and so on, but the actual poor people of Rapture. The ones who got totally screwed over when they came down here to live a better life. Not to mention the prison/asylum. That level was amazing. It was really cool to see that there were horrible people in Rapture before the Civil War and they weren't sent to the surface like others were told -- they were sent to Persephone.

Still kind of wtf about Tenenbaum's Bridgette --> Brigid. I don't get it. Bridgette is classier. D:

And I loooooove the Audio Diaries from Ryan and Fontaine concerning Jasmine Jolene and Fontaine --> Atlas. That was awesome that they included those. AND MARK MELTZER WHAAAAAT. :(

bioshock 3 do want.

This makes me want to bring my Little Sister costume back to Dragon*Con. Although, it is very tempting to do one of the multiplayer characters (Naledi or Blanche, probably). Or one of the new Splicers. My total dream would be a Big Sister costume. O_O

Dude, speaking of multiplayer. I was so proud of myself yesterday. I was playing Civil War and I was on Team Ryan with four other people against a Team Atlas made up of 5 people. They ended up winning by only like ten points, but everyone else on my team had under 5 kills each and I had 17 with only 4 deaths. About half of those kills were in the Big Daddy suit I found. Usually I suck at being the Big Daddy but for some reason last night I owned it. XD

(I love that Naledi is one of the Splicers in the opening movie of BioShock 2. <3333)

(AND [livejournal.com profile] lyraeinne! DID YOU SEND IN YOUR TK APP YET? XDDD)
tenel_ka: ([ bioshock - upper echelon ])
I'm only rank 3 in multiplayer and in single player I'm in Pauper's Drop, but damn I must say all my skepticism was crap. Some opinions so far and don't worry, NO SPOILERS.

SINGLE PLAYER: So I dig Sofia Lamb and the idea of her, but the fact that she is never mentioned in the first game makes it kind of hard to place her in the whole overall picture. Although it seems as though she came out of the woodwork mostly after Ryan's death, so I guess it works out. The storyline so far is as amazing as the first. I love Tenenbaum, duh. XD Lamb is cool and I absolutely adore Sinclair, lolololol. His accent and his wording = love. The opening video is great (semi-spoilers? even though it's the opening video, lol) and the Little Sisters are SO CUTE in this game. SO CUTTEEEEEE.

MULTIPLAYER: I like the idea of unlocking things the higher your rank goes. I also like the fact that you can research your opponents after you get a kill on them with your camera. And the maps are old BioShock locations (Fort Frolic, Arcadia, etc.) = yesssssssssss. I love how it all takes place right around the crazy New Year of Doom when everything in Rapture is going to shit too. I also love the fact that the two teams against each other in the team games are TEAM RYAN and TEAM ATLAS. Naledi Atkins is damn amazing too - I have a giant girlcrush on her.

My only complaint is that Bridgette Tenenbaum's name is suddenly now Brigid...? Really? That just sounds like a drunk person trying to say Bridgette or perhaps someone not spelling frigid correctly. I'm sorry, I know Brigid is canon, but she'll always be Bridgette to me. D:

ANYWAYS, A+ SO FAR. Mmmm, Rapture.

Haha!

Apparently a Han and a Chewie are coming in this month on [livejournal.com profile] trans_9 too! And the Jaina has informed me that all we're missing is a Leia and an Anakin now ([livejournal.com profile] djcati THIS IS YOUR MARK GO FOR IT <33333)! XD So yeah, tomorrow: [livejournal.com profile] goodofthegalaxy will GO ON AN ADVENTURE HURRRR~

I played Fallout 3 for six hours today. I haven't sat on my ass and played a game for that long in one sitting in a long while and you know what? IT FELT NICE. Gave some Teddy Bears to the family up in Pittsburgh, went to Maryland -- to Point Lookout and found some inbred yokels who tried to kill me (I'm not lying, I'm super serial - "Their physical deformities are most likely the result of inbreeding and radiation."), made some moonshine, killed some Mirelurks and did what I think was my favorite quest in the whole game (I still have about ten more to do, and I've done somewhere around 40-45, but this one really took the cake for me). It was during Point Lookout and it was called Walking With Spirits.

Now, I absolutely love games that have crazy-ass symbolism and mess with your mind (the Silent Hill series, Eternal Darkness, etc.) so this quest was right up my alley. It was a giant mindeff. There's so much crazy shit that happens in this quest it's not even funny -- and it calls back to things you've done in the game previously (the nuke in Megaton, the birthday party in Vault 101, the collection of Nuka Cola Quantums). When I came out of the cave and saw the needle stitching up the ground (and earlier the bonesaw), looked to my left and saw the ruined Washington Monument (I was still hours away in Maryland, mind you) and then came upon the skeleton labeled "Mom" on a table (the same table I was born on at the beginning of the game) -- with an effing birthday party hat on to the sounds of a flatline -- I flipped out and professed my <3 for the quest. Then I started finding people in the water I knew and talked to at different points in the game and when I touched them they would vanish and the whole feel of the quest (you are picking up items that have bitchy things written on them XD) was YOU SUCK HARD AND YOU'RE ALL ALONE IN THE WASTELAND. POOR YOU.

AND THEN A PIECE OF MY BRAIN WAS TAKEN OUT. AND THE QUEST WAS OVER. AND I GOT XP FOR IT...?

(this is when I realized the giant bonesaw and the needle was pretty much A PIECE OF MY BRAIN BEING TAKEN OUT OF MY HEAD.)

... dear Fallout 3, babies plz. <3, me.

Aaaaand Nate and I were in Target Friday night in the electronics section looking at video games and on the massive wall of giant televisions a BioShock 2 commercial came on. We both stopped in the middle of our conversation, stared at it in awe, grinned at each other like the super dorks we are and then went right back into our conversation. <3 Heh.
tenel_ka: ([ games - kyle ])
HOKAY. STAR WARS FRIENDING MEME, first of all. XD

Now that that is out of the way, there's been a lot of stuff getting done on the Celebration V NonCon (the online convention!) front. All these new ideas keep coming to us and so I have modified the registration form a little bit and so on, but there will be more news on that in the next week or so, once the site(!) goes online.

In SILENT HILL news, I believe the group playthrough of the series at [livejournal.com profile] neelys_bar will start at the beginning of March sometime. We still need to figure out how to do it (what order to play them in, how long to spend on the games, etc.) but I figure the month of February will give us enough time to figure out how to make it work and also give a chance for other new people to join. I am dorkishly excited for this. XD

(Also SH, I added a Silent Hill theme for the forum! If you go down to the drop-down menu at the bottom, it's called... uh... Silent Hill, lol.)

I need to finish Katsucon costumes this weekend, since next weekend I'll be in Florida visiting Dad (and magical Sea World XD) with Valerie and Brian -- and then the weekend after that is the actual con. I just need to get a couple more things for Luke Triton and sew his pants and then for Lisa I'm pretty much done except for adding blood to the scrubs and getting a white shirt. And I need to make the badge, hur hur.

ksdfjlskdfjlsdfjsd the next couple weeks will be so busy. Feb. 2 - class starts, Feb. 5-8 - Florida, Feb. 9 - BIOSHOCK 2, Feb. 12-14 - Katsucon. Luckily Feb. 15 is a holiday, meaning I can sit on my ass all Sunday and Monday and play BioShock 2. Woo! I want to play through the first BioShock before then, but I have no idea when I'll get a chance -- especially since I'm almost, almost done with my completed Fallout 3 SAINT GAME. All I have is a couple quests left on Broken Steel and then Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. I want the last two bobbleheads too, but they are both in Deathclaw territory and if there's one thing that scares me worse than Mirelurks... it's Deathclaws. D:

(omg icon i love me some new!kyle hyde)

(BUT WAAAAAAANT~)
tenel_ka: ([ fanfic - geevee ])
So this weekend I bought the Fallout Trilogy (Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics) cause I only hear good things about the first games and it is pretty classic so far. XD It's fun to see where they got stuff in F3 from.

I'm making a cosplay.com/costume place master list for everyone on the board (and of course, if you would like to link your c.com gallery or site and you aren't on the board then join it and link it! ;D), so link yours if you have one and show your handiworks off! :D

I've realized that it's October and the newest layout of the Jacen site I just recently uploaded is pretty much HALLOWEEN THEMED, LOLOLOL WHOOPS.

Also, is it totally dorky of me to go on a commemorative snorkeling expedition while I'm in Mexico on the specific date of November 5th since that was the day in 1946 that Rapture (the awesome underwater city in BioShock) was christened?

So tempted to take a BioShock costume with me for UNDERWATER PHOTOSHOOTS. D:

(Logan from this season of Project Runway looks like River Phoenix and Jonathan Rhys Meyers had a baby together. I APPROVE. I HIGHLY APPROVE.)

YOU GUYS I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE! :D

In other animation news, The Clone Wars has a rating of 18% on Rotten Tomatoes and placed third in the box office on it's opening weekend. Hahaha, I should feel bad cause I'm a Star Wars fan. But I don't. Trying to milk me for money with something we've pretty much already seen in an era I've lost all interest in -- plus making the Expanded Universe more of a place to LOL WHAT? HAHAH at than it has ever been (which is really hard to do) -- I think on my FAVORITE FANDOM LIST OF FANDOMY THINGS, Star Wars has moved down a couple places.

You know, cause it needs to make room for real stories and storytellers taking place in eras and times I give a shit about with characters I actually like who don't die for really lame and lazy reasons (redemption for a family member? what the hell is that? EVEN THOUGH FOR VADER IT WAS PERFECTLY ALRIGHT). Fandoms like Bioshock (2 and movie, WHAT), Silent Hill (Silent Hill: Homecoming!) and Stephen King (Just Past Sunset and Under the Dome!). Oh man, but Stover still owns it. He's like holding Star Wars up by himself on the fandom list here. That's a big pile of crap to hold up too.

I mean, Star Wars was on one of the movie channels a couple weeks ago and I was like, "UGH, HAN AND LEIA YOU GUYS EFFING SUCK IT. MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE PARENTING CLASSES OR SOMETHING. OH GOD THERE GOES BOBA FETT INTO THE SARLACC PIT WHERE HE REALLY SHOULD'VE DIED." So yeah, thanks LotF for doing that to one of my favorite movies. :(

That's not to say I completely disown it though. I mean, there are still things I like. Tenel Ka, Zekk, Kyle Katarn, Kyp, Lando, Republic Commando (the game), Knights of the Old Republic, Battlefront, Dark Forces, The Outlander Club (I would spend all my time in there), Hapes, Nar Shaddaa, Coruscant, Dathomir, Luke Skywalker (in the movies), Chew-effing-bacca, Nightsisters, Traitor, Star by Star, the Strike Team, Darth Caedus (kind of, I guess), Allana, that chapter of The Joiner King, Tenel Ka's arm, Taryn and Trista Zel -- and of course Jacen Solo, when he was still a make-sense type of character. Also, Jacen Solo in a skirt (Vector Prime). Not to be confused with Questionably Clothes-less Jacen Solo (Traitor) and Vong Robeskin + Amphistaffs Jacen Solo (also Traitor -- come on, Stover knows where it's at).

See, there are things I still like. But this post-LotF stuff and all this Clone Wars crap just has me = "WAIT, THERE'S NEW STAR WARS NEWS? I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION, SORRY."

P.S. HEY. PERSONA 4. DECEMBER 9TH. MAKING GLASSES SEXIER THEN THEY ALREADY ARE! :D

The glasses, given by Kuma, play an important role in the game, and allow the party to see through the heavy mist inside Mayonaka TV and decrease stamina loss. Apparently Kuma himself does not need a pair. The pistol-like Evokers of Persona 3 are replaced by tarot cards, which the main characters shatter in order to summon their respective Personas.

I kind of think the glasses are sexier than the evokers. I guess they look sexier than shooting yourself in the head. XDDDD (ksjdklafjskjd JFKKSDFJFKJ YOSUKE HANAMURA'S GLASSES~) Also, Yosuke Hanamura is totally following in the footsteps of Chris/Reiji, Eikichi, Heat, Narumi and Junpei. SEXY.

Haha, another tangent to my P.S., in Digital Devil Saga -- I am in Manipura. I forgot how much I love the music in this game, and I also forget that Jinana's Atma is on her ass. So every time they cut to her ass I'm like, "WHAT? ASS IN MY FACE? ... oh yeah." (AND OH MAN I FORGOT HOW HOT BAT IS.)

I kind of want a small Atma tattoo (I like Heat's and Argilla's). Or a Bioshock tattoo (omg like one of THESE! :D). Nothing huge and obvious, but it might be fun. And it's not like scratching a name or something on your skin that will be like, "EW WHY DOES IT SAY THIS ON ME?" in the future.

P.S.S. I DIDN'T KNOW MICHAEL PHELPS WAS THE MERMAN IN ANNIE LEIBOVITZ'S LITTLE MERMAID/JULIANNE MOORE SHOT! HE IS REALLY PART FISH, FOR REAL. D:
tenel_ka: ([ bioshock - happy new year ])
I'm gonna post the first part of the Star Wars/Bioshock crossover/mash-up thing here soon, so I figure this post is needed for anyone who is into the Star Wars: EU (post-RotJ) and has no idea what the hell a Bioshock is. :D

BUT HERE IS MY CAST LIST DRAMATIS PERSONAE, LOL. Well, okay, not really. Just characters in/mentioned in the story.

And I mean some of these are characters who are only even just mentioned once -- and their Star Wars counterparts. I just had to make a list of Star Wars counterparts. MUAHAHAHAH~

Alana Dooley Soloman (Allana)
Andrew "Andy" Soloman (Anakin Solo)
Drake (Droekle)
Ezekiel/"Zeke" (Zekk)
Isaak (Isolder)
Jackson Fellows (Jagged Fel)
Jane Soloman (Jaina Solo)
Jase Soloman (Jacen Solo)
Karen Wells (Taryn Zel)
Kip Durant (Kyp Durron)
Kristin Wells (Trista Zel)
Louie (Lowbacca -- "Lowie")
Raymond Thurston (Raynar Thul)
Tanith Kendall Dooley (Tenel Ka Djo)
Teneil Dooley (Teneniel Djo)
Victoria "Torry" Tela (Tahiri Veila)

(EEEHEHEHE, TENEL KA THE REDHEAD WITH HER IRISH LAST NAME. XD)

So I'll start posting this shiz like tomorrow or something. Something something.
tenel_ka: ([ movies - best movie ever ])
AHAHAHAHA, I'm on Entertainment Weekly's website. I was reading one of their photo gallery articles today and I got to #12 and I started reading the blurb and I was like, "SHIT, I TOTALLY WANT TO HANG OUT WITH THIS PERSON. THEY LIKE AWESOME MOVIES~" and then I remembered answering this question on EW's blog and the person I wanted to hang out with was suddenly ME. XD

#12 on the "23 Movies You'd Love To See On the Big Screen"

LOL, GONNA GO HANG OUT WITH MYSELF NOW. BRB.

Last night I had a dream I got to Dragon*Con and was so excited and had all my costumes and I was gonna go change into one and then I realized I forgot all my shoes and all my props (along with the bloody axe and blaster I'm supposed to bring for Ashley, hehe). :| Right now I am laughing my ass off about said dream, but when I woke up from it I was like "OHHHHH NOOOOO HOW AM I GONNA WEAR THESE COS--- wait, it was a dream. PHEW."

Haha, I love how the Star Wars/Bioshock story has me looking at the wikipedia page for things like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asshole ("...the use to refer to a contemptible person is first attested in 1933") and sites like http://www.alphadictionary.com/slang/ to see when certain phrases and words were heavily in use and stuff. I mean, there was definitely cursing in Bioshock - but it just seems so weird to write JACEN SOLO SAYING "SON OF A BITCH"~

(Oh my gawwwwd, Anakin Solo with glasses -- CUTEST THING EVER. <3333)
tenel_ka: ([ bioshock - happy new year ])
OKAY. BIOSHOCK AND STAR WARS. There is so much shit I've written that it has to be split up into a couple parts, WTF I KNOW. D: But I am so in love with this. I haven't been this excited by anything I've written in awhile.

I have a dorky/darling/dirty moment with Jase and Jane in one of the parts. It's creepy cause it's borderline Jacen/Jaina -- and this is because Jase is drunk off his fucking rocker and Jane is like, lol you dumbshit, it's me. I've done this before, you see. But the darling comes in because Jane is all, "awww little twin bro, you're such an illegal workaholic and you will catch a break soon, i promise." And she gives him a kiss on his drunk-ass, booze-smelly forehead and he's all, "zzzzzzzz"

Oh and the part where Jane and Jase are looking at Kip at Eve's Garden (Jane's place of employment, HELL YES <3) and he's all jealous of Jase cause he's close to Jane -- even though he knows they're TWIN SIBLINGS -- and Jane is like LOL LET'S PISS HIM OFF. So she whispers something in Jase's ear and massively!horribly!drunk!Kip Durant FLIPS HIS SHIT.

Even though we look exactly alike? )

And these are the kinds of reasons why I'm having so much fun with this story. XD

(I am so not guilty of Jacen/Jaina 'shipping, I swear. *shifty eyes*)

Alright, but Andy does falls asleep with his head on Jase's leg and it's the cutest thing ever. <3 Solo kids = OT3.

(I can totally see Jacen and Jaina doing this:

Jase was about to ask more about this "Torry", until Jane elbowed him in the side gently. "Don't look to your right."

Instantly turning his head to the right, Jane elbowed him in the side again. "I said
don't look!")

Haha, before I post this story I will totally make a little guide/glossary so everyone can understand both the SW and the Bioshock sides of the story, cause sometimes I even forget stuff myself. XD
tenel_ka: ([ fanfic - hapan gardens ])
Alright, so I took this Bioshock/SW shit even a step further. Oh my gawwwd, I am having way too much fun with this. I LOVE IT. HAHHAH~

Names mentioned so far in the story:
Jase Soloman
Jane Soloman
Andrew "Andy" Soloman
Tanith Kendall
Raymond Thurston
Louie (such a hairy boy)
Kip Durant (drunkard!)
Ezekiel ("Zeke")
Jack Fellows

"Guess who I saw at the Kashmir Restaurant the other night?" He cocked a slender eyebrow as he reached over and took the apple from where Jase had discarded it behind him.
"What were you doing at the Kashmir Restaurant?"
"I was sneaking into the kitchens and stealing food. What else?" Ezekiel scoffed and took an enthusiastic bite from the fruit.
Jase scowled. "How about you get a job?"
"How 'bout you shut up?" He responded, flecks of apple flying from his lips.

ZEEEEEEEEEKE. <33333

Speaking of writing -- I've been working on Absolved and all I have to say is writing Bitchface!Gadell again feels SO AMAZING. O_O

I forgot how much I love this song.

MUAHAHA, the episode of So You Think You Can Dance tonight = auditions in Washington D.C.! XD
tenel_ka: ([ bioshock - upper echelon ])
On a completely random note -- I am writing a Jacen/Tenel Ka short story that is a crossover with Bioshock. And by crossover I don't mean "LOL SANDER COHEN MEET JACEN SOLO! WHERE AM I?! WHAT IS THIS SILLY PELLET SHOOTING GUN?" I mean, I am sticking these two into Rapture and just running with it like they've been on Earth all their lives. It might kind of be in the same oddly disconnected vein as Jagula, Dr. Zekkyll, Lowzilla and the Phantom of Carida -- but in a more serious (and vintage-1940's pervy <3) kind of way.

Their names in the story? Tanith Kendall and Jase Soloman. YES.

(This is also in addition to Jase's siblings, twin sister Jane and little brother Andrew. MOOHAHAHAHA~)

STAR WARS/BIOSHOCK = OTP.

I never realized how fun it is to write them in a setting that's not LOL BLASTERS AND LIGHTSABERS AND THE FORCE IN YOUR FACE LIGHT AND DARK YAY WAR ALL AROUND US ALL THE TIIIIME!!!1111 Also, Jacen Solo Jase Soloman saying "fuck this" = LOL YES. And you know I will totally insert little jokes into it pertaining to the canon SW storyline. Like skirts. And animals. And Jaina's harem. And the missing arm.

I'm also kind of mixing up the canon (haha like it's not effed enough already by putting them in Rapture) --

Basically the Soloman's (Han and Leia) sent their kids Jase, Jane and Andrew (Jacen, Jaina and Anakin) down to Rapture (the Academy) because they are "gifted" (have the Force) and they thought the kids would fit in good with Andrew Ryan's vision of LOL AWESOMENESS. But the children end up following their own paths: Jase delivers food (hottest delivery boy ever) and smuggles stuff from the surface, Jane dances at a burlesque joint and Andrew guts fish for a living (Jacen goes absolutely batshit, Jaina loves her some boys and... more boys and Anakin uh, dies). So see, it's just like canon! Parents let kids go crazy! :D

Oh oh oh, and Andrew swipes a Telekinesis plasmid so the brothers get to have some fun pretending they have the Force.

I LOVE THE DIRTY SOLOMAN CHILDREN. XD

(OH AND NOW ANOTHER IDEA WHERE JASE AND TANITH HAVE ALANA [see, I totally just took out an extra L] AND THEY THREATEN TO TURN HER INTO A LITTLE SISTER AND JASE LOSES HIS SHIT AND KILLS LOTS OF PEOPLE.)

Universal has signed a deal for a movie adaptation of last year's award-winning videogame BioShock, with Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski already on board to direct and produce. The deal between Universal and Take-Two Interactive, the game's publisher, is believed to be the biggest videogame-to-movie deal since Universal and Fox signed with Microsoft in 2005 for a Halo movie (that project has since been aborted). BioShock, which has sold more than 2 million units worldwide, is set in an underwater city based on the free market principles of Ayn Rand. But things have gone disastrously wrong, thanks to the discovery of ADAM, a gene-altering material, and the nearly-deserted city is left in shambles. Players control the sole survivor of a plane crash who takes refuge in the sprawling and decaying underwater metropolis and slowly discovers its secrets. Verbinski says he will start production as soon as the screenplay is penned by Aviator scribe John Logan, who is still in talks for the project. (Variety)

GORE VERBINSKI. OMG. BIOSHOCK MOVIE. WHHHHHAAAAAAAAAT? <3333

And, I'm sorry, the G.I. Joe cast looks pretty badass. HELLO HEAVY DUTY AND SCARLETT. <3 Scarlett was always hot and I'm glad to see they carried that over to the movie. Also, not on that article but in the movie are Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Arnold Vosloo. YES.

KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE, BITCHES.

ALSO, MARA JADE IS HOT (click the very last cover on the page). Although, her eyes look hella-gray on that cover. Luke also looks mightily young and sexcellent.
