HEY YOU GUYS SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE IS DEAD TO ME (OMG SPOILER AHEAD!!1). Okay, maybe not dead to me -- but they can definitely say goodbye to a lot of people's tour money. Cause there are a number of people who would've gone just to see Hok (me = guilty). And now that he's gone JUST SHY of the top ten -- aka the people going on tour -- they can take their tour and suck it somewhere. Also, KEEPING LAUREN? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?
ANYWAYS.
So I was on the cosplay.com forums, looking at the Otakon forum, because it's always fun to see people scrambling at the last minute to do things on there before a con. I do it too. XD I saw this post by this chick, something about hotel rooms, and she mentions she has nine people staying in her room. NINE. A NORMAL HOTEL ROOM. I don't understand how anyone can do that for a weekend, let alone a single night. I mean, you are packed to the brim with people at the convention itself -- don't you want somewhere to go back to where you can relax?
And let's not even get into the bathroom situation -- I don't care what you have in your room, boys or girls (supposedly this chick is going to be with nine girls) -- girls are just as messy as guys in the bathroom, leaving makeup and dirty clothes and shit everywhere. I can't understand how you can share one bathroom, one sink, one toilet and one shower with NINE PEOPLE. Especially a bunch of costumers. D: There has to be some health violation there. Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl. :o ~~~~~
(That is a smiley vomiting, okayz. XD)
Then there's the problem of everyone's crap -- and sleeping. You all need a place to put your shit and you all need a place to sleep, right? Costumes? Sleeping? NINE PEOPLE? Dude, me and Emily and Jason had our room effing full at D*C last year and that was myself and TWO OTHER PEOPLE. This year we have four, including me -- and that's good enough for me. Sure, my room won't be $14 a person, but I'd rather pay more money then have a room WITH TEN PEOPLE IN IT. I will have FLUFFY BED AND PILLOW AND ROOM FOR THINGS. And a clean bathroom.
Oh Otakon, you never fail to amaze me. XD
In other convention news, Major Victory is going to be at D*C. You guys, with the Ghost Hunters there again, and now Major Victory, I think my life is complete. Feedback and Fat Momma are going to be there too.
And omg, I got my YJK Tenel Ka boots in the mailz today -- and I love them with all my fangirly little heart. O_O~
ANYWAYS.

Date: 2007-07-20 09:46 am (UTC)What I really need, is the next time I go to ANY con? I need kick butt costumes. For real. That will make me excited to go! So. I need to get back to learning how to sew. -_-
And here is an icon of Sam Winchester in his own costume.

Date: 2007-07-23 03:55 am (UTC)Ahem, anyways, you need to go to lots of cons! :D And sewing is fun once you get over all the frustrating mistakes and junk you make occasionally. Which I do a lot. But the end product always makes you feel proud. :D YOU NEED TO GO TO CONS SO I CAN STALK AND HARASS. XD

Date: 2007-07-23 04:16 am (UTC)Yeah yeah, and I know like 28395 people in this area who could teach me how to sew amazingly, and I kind of already started learning, but lessons got dropped, so. Bah.
As soon as bills stop kicking my butt, I will go to cons, I promise. I think I'm almost halfway there. But, going to school will slow me down in paying off. Still. Grant money helps!
