1.) Mrs. White (Clue: the Movie -- I LOVE that screencap~ XD)
2.) A Frog Brother (The Lost Boys)
3.) Tenel Ka (Young Jedi Knights -- already done)
4.) I kind of want to do a Carrie costume. :o You know, the whole nine yards with the bloody prom dress... that would be bloodier than all my costumes from this year combined! And would also require like a ten hour shower to get clean, SO I DON'T KNOW YET~ XD

FRIDAY - AUGUST 29th, 2008: [ costumes: Lisey Landon (Stephen King's Lisey's Story, Elliot Reid (Scrubs), Peter McVries (Stephen King's The Long Walk) ]

( No, we didn't bring our swimsuits. But dammit, we will hang out by the pool. (Yay for overuse of the angry cursing and word AWESOME!) )

Also, overheard at the convention: "I am so over Star Wars Galaxies. I play WoW now."

The best part about it is the fact that Ashley really looks like she's gonna hobble murder someone with that axe. And the lighting. XD

The empty elevator (EMPTY WHAT?) completes the shot and totally adds to the YAY ABANDONED RAPTURE feeling. XD

And then this awesome random shot of Jeremy on Sunday morning when we were all in Men in Tights costumes. He was Blinkin. And if you recall correctly, Blinkin was blind. So Erin and I were talking and we turn around to find Jeremy gone. He had wandered off and stood in front of a wall, staring at it like he couldn't see it.

Gonna go to sleep now. My head still feels like there's a brick in it and I have a NEVERENDING HANGOVER. WHAT IS THIS CON CRUD I SENSE? I am so happy I took tomorrow (today?) off.

So this weekend was the weekend I realized, "Shit, Dragon*Con is only four months away and I have ONE out of SIX costumes completed!"

(TWO out of SEVEN if I bring my Little Sister costume! :D)

(THREE out of EIGHT if you count the Stand by Me boys -- but that's a white t-shirt and jeans!)

And the only reason one is completed is because it was a costume I wore last year: Peter McVries. BIG HEARTS.

As for the other five...

SHMI SKYWALKER (dead/zombified): I'm waffling on this one because there is a good one or two characters I'm thinking I might want to try my hand at instead, but I'm not sure yet... this is why I haven't started this costume yet.

MAID MARIAN: I have the nightgown and I have a pair of slippers to shuffle around in. But you know in the movie Pee Wee's Big Adventure where Pee Wee saves all the animals from the burning pet store and he keeps passing the snakes and sneering at them and procrastinating with them? That's me with this cloak. "I'M SEW HIAPPY~!"

ELLIOT REID: I haven't done anything with this because I have no idea if we're still doing it or not. XD (ARE WE? :OOOO)

TENEL KA: I wanted to do a sort of effed up hybrid of ROYAL OVERDONE GOWN/ARMOR OF DOOM. But I have this idea floating in my head of a dress. It's dark blue and all queenly and shit. But the idea for the cloak/capelet thing I have going in my head is gonna kick ass if I can get it to work... so I think QUEENLY DRESSAGE OF DOOM will be what I bring. It'll match KYLE'S ROYAL ALLANA <333 -- and hopefully be fun with Ben's/Caedus/Jaina's, etc. XD I'll most likely bring the Tempest cover TK as a backup as well.

LISEY LANDON: OH LISEY. I sat down to start work on this over the weekend and I kind of stared at it. Cause my first order of business is to turn the picture under the cut below into a garland I can basically wear like a boa that reflects the floral fucking awesomeness of BOO'YA MOON. And it will be slow and tedious but it must be done cause omg.

( They are just sitting on the table like this like, LOL GLUE ME YOU STUPID TWERP. )

So that's where I stand. Four months. Less than four months. :O
