I really don't get how people can be like "JARED PADALECKI WOULDN'T WORK FOR JACEN SOLO/DARTH CAEDUS EWWW GIVE ME [INSERT SOMEONE WHO LOOKS NOTHING LIKE JACEN HERE]~~"
Ben is REALLY HARD to find an actor for. I used the little kid from Peter Pan for eight/nine year old Ben, and Burkely Duffield for eleven year old Ben, but like, thirteen/fourteen I CAN NEVER DECIDE. Right now I'm using Mitch Hewer, who is a little too old and far too blond (I can just about work Photoshop, but...)
As for Ben, he is so hard to cast for, as Cati said in the other comment. I don't know what it is about him! It shouldn't be that difficult~! And Tahiri, I always end up using Hayden P. (I cannot spell her last name for the life of me!) -- the cheerleader from Heroes. XD
Whoa. I'd never thought of that, but Jared would be so awesomely perfect for Jacen that now I think I'll be seeing him in my head when I read the series. :p
dude they crazy. I can see it in the face. He seems rather BUFF, but then again that would be normal when you're an ex-Jedi ass face trying to take over the universe because you could run it better and no you're not treading the same path as you're grandfather, you're not! /endJacenwhine
Yeah, I was thrown off by the buff at first, but I figure now that Jacen's all crazy and training and insane it could work. Especially since Jared P. pulls off evil extremely and freakishly well. XD
You know, I never would have looked at Jared and thought Jacen until you pointed it out, but with the hair and the broody smokey emo eyes, he could totally pull it off. Jacen's one of those boys I've always had tons of trouble casting myself.
I can't get into casting Padalecki as Jacen, but that's mostly because I mentally cast him as Zekk. He'd make an all right Jacen... I just think he'd make a better Zekk.

sure in real life she's 39 but i swear she doesn't look a day over 28.which is roughly Tahiri's age in LOTF unless my math is waaay off. =)
or if we could make their eyes green..Busy Phillips or maybe Katee Sackhoff. course that might just be cause i have crushes on them as well. LOL.
