LOLOLOLOLOLOL, so apparently the Fate of the Jedi series is a nine book series (authors Troy Denning, Aaron Allston & Christie Golden) that takes place pretty much right where LotF left off. Haha, exactly the same as before except no mandos/Boreba, Jacen hur hur Caedus and Mara.

The best part is that it's all being published in hardcover. Wait, HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHHAHHAHHAHAHHAH~ they want me to shell about about $150+ for NINE HARDCOVERS (hell, nine books in general) after Legacy of the Force?

YES, PLEASE, LET'S SEE WHERE THIS LEADS US, LOLOLOLOL.

I'll be reading the spoilers and I will splurge for a book -- like I said before -- if it has Tenel Ka or Zekk in an appearance longer than LIKE FIVE PAGES (P.S. a Zekk appearance for longer than five pages doesn't count if he's around Jaina -- WAIT OH HE MIGHT BE DEAD THAT'S RIGHT). Oh, and maybe a Jacen Force Ghostie of Doom.

I think they'll probably finally get her and Jag together in this series, because I am completely convinced that Marasiah (from Legacy) HAS to be their descendant (she acts so much like Jaina, it's ridiculous), and they really have to start setting up stuff for the comics, like...now. Cuz the comics are only 95 years in the future, and there are at least two generations between the current Skywalker and Fel families and the ones in Legacy.

And it's the same old boring authors. You can tell that Allston is kind of getting bored of writing the Big 3 and Denning...the only book of his that really stood out for me was Star by Star. :_: Gah. FEH I say.

hey, i'm excited :p totally despite myself, though, cause Legacy was pretty crap. all hardcover sucks, though.

glad to see theyre rid of traviss. her republic commando books are pretty good, but her legacy books SUCKED so much ass. "jaina had never had to work a hard day in her life" OH YEAH WHAT ABOUT THE WHOLE YUUZHAN VONG WAR? dunno what the new writer is like but hopefully we'll have less "OMG MANDOS > JEDI" and stuff. and hopefully she'll stop writing the jedi like they were in the prequels. thats what i hated about legacy of the force, they ignored all the things that i found special about the new jedi order (the fact they often go in with blasters, armour and baradium) and wrote them as if they were prequel jedi. GRRR.

my theory for fate of the jedi is that it's going to be jedi vs. mandos. and i reckon they didn't hire traviss cause, y'know, they actually want the jedi to win. :p

I would never go to someone who tried to kill/barter my dad for money, etc. for help.
