Haha, so very glad this didn't happen. Especially since LotF was supposed to be IN YO' FACE and GRITTY. This would've been so cheap. You know I love me some Denning, but this would've been so wrong, even if he was the one to write it. Just leave Jacen and Anakin dead. You killed them already, you can't take it back.

SAW LOTS OF BABY ANIMALS AT THE PITTSBURGH ZOO THIS WEEKEND. I will have to get the pictures off my camera. Seal, beavers, deer (one of which followed Nate all wobbly and it was so cute) -- it was a very cute trip to the zoo. ALSO YAY SEEING VALVAL AND BRIBRI. And the bakery and lots of junk food and Mario Party, lololol. XD

It would be completely different if, say, there was more of him (or anyone, really) as a ghost, but a resurrected Anakin would just reek. And that's not a decomposition joke.

Yeah, it would be so wrong. And it's not even like HI I'M A JACEN FANGIRLZ AND IT WOULD BE SO MEAN LOL it's just wrong considering ALL the characters who have died. It's like, "WHOOPS WE MADE A MISTAKE NOW WE BRING HIM BACK TO FIX IT YAYYSSS!!!1"

I'm glad they didn't go this route. While I'm disappointed they killed off both Solo boys, bringing Anakin back would have made his death meaningless.

Aw, I'm probably the only one who feels this way, but I'd still give almost anything to have Anakin back. I wouldn't care if it was cheap or ridiculous, that universe has never been the same for me without him. I really would have forgiven Del Rey absolutely everything in a second if they'd gone through with it.

I don't think I can ever forgive DR now, after Jacen lololol -- and especially after cancelling Blood Oath. Like you kill one, then you kill the other and now you cancel the one book I still cared about. Cheapening deaths by bringing them back would just make things worse (IF THAT IS POSSIBLE). D:

Yeah, I can never forgive them for Jacen, but I never really forgave them for Anakin either. That's really just the nail in the coffin for me, sadly. But that's what we have fanfic for, right?

But for me I think Anakin's death (and now Jacen's too) was so cheap and needless to begin with it couldn't possibly get any worse if either was brought back. It wouldn't make any sense from a story perspective, but neither did killing 80% of the next generation in the first place. I'm just sad I guess, because I really do feel like the younger generation is being sacrificed on the alter of their parents, so to speak. God forbid we have any books without the Big Three in the lead roles, right? Sigh.

Meh, they've been using Anakin enough after his death anyway, doesn't even need to be brought back.

Just finished Omen and have to say it also seems like they're looking at after-shadowing from Jacen too so, doesn't matter who dies or not really.

What they do need to do *looks around for the GA reps that are no doubt listening in* is get to killing Luke. Seriously. Its time and if this is leadin to comic timeline stuff its gotta happen eventually.

Quite enjoyed Outcast, not so sure about Omen, it had its moments just seemed...sloppy?
