Here is where I profess my love for Hotel Dusk: Room 215, what I am daring to say is my favorite Nintendo DS game right now. Sure it's a lot of reading and poking around, but shit, it's brilliant. The writing is astounding and the crap these people are hiding is like WTF. The music is damn fine too, along with the gritty noir thing it's got going. The setting = love, as does the facial expressions of the characters. Have I MENTIONED THE WRITING OMG HURRRR? The dialogue is just <3333333. It flows so well and fskfdksdl;fjs dkfj fj. I can't put the effing DS down, I need to finish.
It doesn't hurt that the pencil art/style is hot and Kyle Hyde is yum (see icon. SCRUFF <3), along with Louie DeNonno and Jeff Angel. I think one of the really fun things is that you write your own memos in your notepad. Like you sit there with your stylus and write down things you want to remember. So on this empty page, while I was talking to Jeff, I just scrawled all over this page:
"JEFF ANGEL = ASSHOLE."
I felt better after that. He was a spoiled littlehot punk.
