Around 2pm - 3pm: arrive at the Marriott Marquis Atlanta woo!

Whenever that night: get badge, eat dinner with hobots, scope out the hotels and see how they look this year, chill in the room, etc.

THE OPENING: So, jasa_solo is here and we have successfully fucked the basement up already with boxes upon boxes and costume things and pieces of incomplete weapons (lightsaber pieces galore!) and wigs and hats and dvds and games and it's a glorious mess. Now if we could only get shit done. O_O He also got a birthday cake on Saturday that said (in very ghetto green writing, by yours truly), "Welcome home, bitch." And I thought it fit quite well -- plus, it was ICE CREAM CAKE AND JFKSJDFKSd. Carvel ice cream cake. If only it were shaped like Fudgey the Whale.


COLONEL BITCHTITS, REPORTING: Haha, tracking for echuta.net shows me toolishness (a little over halfway down). "I SWEAR I GOT ECHUTA FROM WARCRAFT3. FUCKING STAR WARS SITE. HUR HUR HUR DOUCHECHILL." Yeeeeeeah, cause we stole E CHU TA from and Warcraft3. Thankfully, he didn't call us nerds or something cause I would have to register and be: "HEY. DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU'RE POSTING? SHIT TO SELL: I have Star Wars figures to sell. I have some Lukes and stuff (I forgot what else, wtf) -- all (or most, at least) in the packaging with pretty plastic cases around them. If anyone is interested, I can post a list of the little bitches. They would be like a dollar plus shipping, so as much as a figure in the store, basically. O_o I also have comics to sell. Like all my Runaways, save the first issue -- since it is signed by Jo Chen. All this shit will most likely go up on ebay at some point so if you just want to wait till then, be my guest -- just lemme know in a comment or something so I can remember to post a link when I get them up. For the figures and the comics, I'm not sure if I should sell them all separately or together... hmm... will figure out later.


BRILLIANT TELEVISION: Anyone who doesn't watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia needs to cry themselves to sleep tonight. Especially after missing Charlie's America song (I'M GONNA GO AMERICA ALL OVER YOUR ASS). All the people who don't watch this show are all the same people who refused to watch Arrested Development. IT'S OKAY. It wouldn't be understood by the masses anyways (I HAVE TO THINK?!?!? OH HELLS NAW). I'll admit I watch some lame things, but I balance it out with actual good/clever programming. Like Project Runway, IASIP, Everybody Hates Chris, The Office and Supernatural (The boys are just a plus!).


THE CLOSING: Time to work on costumes, bitches. Mmm, spraypaint and glue. And Silent Hill on DVD tomorrow.

Have I mentioned I've missed the SH fandom horribly? I think one of the reasons it's not just "another damn survival horror game" is cause the driving point behind it is the EMOTION. Not the gore (even though the monsters are FUCKING BANGING, O SNAP XD). These damn people are so caught up in making their lives right they don't give a crap what they have to go through to do it. Like Harry and his daughter. James and his wife. Heather being snarky and later her dad. Henry, well, Henry's a fly on the wall. Walty's the real basketcase in that one. <3

And I've seen other survival horror games attempt the EMOTION angle. And it doesn't work. XD

I started a new SH2 game AND SH1 game the other day -- and will be starting SH3 after I finish SH1 and SH4 after I finish SH2. (And have I also mentioned that when James finds the article in the trash now about WALTER, I squee like a little bitch. The best is when they're quoting Walter's old friend and he's like:
