Dec. 7th, 2006 06:08 pmI am incredibly frightened of this -- how exactly do you make that into a good movie? The book is pretty much characters talking to themselves. O_o BUT THE BOOK IS AWESOME BTW, IF YOU HAVE NEVER READ I SUGGEST, YES YES.
We rented Clerks II the other night and dude, Elias stole the movie. He was SO CUTE with his facial expressions and the story about PILLOW-PANTS and LISTERFIEND, those had me dying of laughter. Also his WWJD boxers. So lost. XD Jay and Silent Bob were as classic as ever, especially anytime Jay was being all Silence of the Lambs Buffalo Bill. My throat still hurts from laughing so hard. XD
Panorama is shaping up to be pretty good. It is still lacking a Ben or an Allana, either of which I would totally pick up if I had the energy and time. But Kyp all grimy and long-haired a la Exile-excerpt, he's just screaming for some love. Fo' reals.
And of course, onto that fandom, people are still causing stinks about, "Well waiii, Jacen is a murderer and I can't like him anymore and waiiii~" -- yet now they're getting way too into it and causing serious moral debates and shit everywhere. Dude, it's the "GFFA", it's a book series, people are allowed to go bad. It's not like he's gonna jump out of the book and murder your family or something. CHILL THE BALLS OUT, THX. Plus, everyone I've seen him shitcan had the kill-them-plz! in my mind, either by being annoying or because it would be good entertainment -- or both. But maybe that's cause I'm a cold, heartless bitch. Or something. Hm.
Anyhoodle, Christmas shopping still isn't done because I am a big loser. And I don't know what to do on my birthday this year. It's on a Friday and I'm planning on taking off around noon that day. But then what? Everyone piles in the basement for video games and scarfs food and booze? That's always entertaining, especially since it's pretty much what Jason and I end up doing a lot of the time when it's just Erin and Ronnie over. XD But it is so fun. Heee~ that's how you know you have the best friends, when you can just sit around and shit talk and amuse yourself with lots of nothing. I'm glad they're here. So come on, ideas for something to do -- and of course everyone in this area on the eljays -- I am kidnapping you and bringing you over. So pack a lunch or some shit.
In other news, America's Next Top Model = OMG!!! Mom, Jason (yes, I said Jason -- maybe he's channeling his inner fashionista, or he just likes to see hot bitches catfight, although I don't know how many of them are really "hot") and I clenched our teeth at Stankhose until Tyra made US ALL FEEL BETTER. People have been totally bashing the fashion show idea, but I thought the ghost brides thing was SO CUTE. PLUS DANIELLE OMG! "YA'LL ARE CUTE~" XD
And Survivor and Supernatural (hee!) tonight. XD (I love the way some of the tools on Survivor have been totally playing into their own racial stereotypes that they said they would break, HEH. ALL IN ALL, GO YUL & OZZY. They totally should have had FRANKLIN UP IN THAT GAME.)
OH AND EDEN ON HEROES NO BRAINS FOR YOU SYLAR FTW. The Haitian is totally growing on me. AND D.L. <3~ And Peter's vision = duuuuuuude.
