-- I LOVE THIS PART // The part where Catherine first sees Atrus I TOTALLY SQUEE EVERY TIME.
SPEAKING OF SQUEE. This is why the Myst fandom = win. Because there is an animal called a Squee. AND IT SO CUTE.
Aaaand this is still the most gorgeous tribute to the series ever. I know people always bitch "THE FIRST ONE LOOKS LIKE CRAP" -- Hello, it was 1993. Also, "WAI WAI POINT AND CLICK" but that's because they don't bother get into the story. GENOCIDE AND FAMILY THERAPY AND KIDNAPPING AND BETRAYAL AND LOL HUMAN SACRIFICE TO MY DARLING WAHRK. I LOVE HIM. I also pretty much peed my pants of fright the first time I saw him, not to mention having to get into a LITTLE TINY SUB IN THE WATER WHERE HE WAS SWIMMING. D:
