I watched the Mummy yesterday while I was eating dinner and I had forgotten how much I loved that movie. Of course, that led me to look up the third one again and I got bitter all over again cause of the whole Maria Bello replacing Rachel Weisz thing. Just... no. The movie is gonna be about Rick and their son going on some crazy Mummy adventure, yes (which I'm not sure she's included in or what)? So why does Evelyn even need to be in it then? Say she's off teaching classes somewhere or something. You can't replace Evelyn -- Rachel Weisz is Evelyn.

But dude. Rick O'Connell is still effing gorgeous though. AND LOOK AT HIM CHANNELING LEON S. KENNEDY. <3

And even though I'm pissed about fake!Evelyn, I'm still kind of excited about this movie. Jet Li looks badass. "...to give you the first look at Jet Li as the Emperor riding into battle about to re-take command of 5000 terracotta mummies. The sword fight between Jet and Michelle Yeoh that I have been shooting for two days is nothing less than poetry."

I was listening to Thriller (the album, not just the song) and I was wondering why "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" wasn't a bigger hit that it was. "Thriller" and "Beat It" and "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" were all awesome. "Billie Jean" is okay but overrated and kind of gets on my nerves -- but "P.Y.T." is effing awesome. So why TF did it not get as much pimpage? LAME.
