Okay, I'm at the part in Lisey's Story where Lisey and Scott go to Boo'ya Moon for the first time. And I noticed this last time I read the book, but now that I was consciously thinking about it as I read it -- how much was King knowingly doing the whole Scott/Adam and Lisey/Eve thing? Cause here they are in this HAY HELLO AMAZING GORGEOUS place called Eden Boo'ya Moon -- naked, naturally -- and Scott blathering on about the things around them and not eating the fruit after a certain time (which -- hello, what does this lead to later? MAYBE YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO YOUR OWN ADVICE, MISTER LANDON D:).

So Scott brings her to this creepishly pretty and Bizarro-World Version of Eden and oh-my-sweet-shit I love this book even more. D:
