tenel_kaMaeby is still at the vet. Not eating or drinking, which doesn't concern them too much since cats are picky about where/what they eat and so on. But she's still draining a lot of fluid out of her abdomen. The doctor was like, "But wtf, she is such a small cat." So Maeby's just like, "LOL look at all my drainage it just keeps on coming." She hobbled over to the litter tray in her cage the two nights ago when I was visiting and I was like YAY LOOK AT YOU GOING TO THE BATHROOM ON YOUR OWN IN THE TRAY YAYAYAY. And me and one of the nurses were all "Yay good girl!" and cheering for her. After she piddled, she promptly gave up on standing and fell over like a narcoleptic on the edge of a very long nap -- probably cause her paw was still wrapped. It was so sad and cute at the same time. The nurse and I were like, "AWWWWWWWWWWWWW" -- so we helped her back up and she vegged out with me petting her until I had to go.
The day before yesterday I went to visit her on the way home from work and she ate a couple pieces of food for me. But the vets can't count that because they didn't see it themselves. So to them, she hasn't eaten jackshit and still needs to be on IVs. Her drainage is still the same amount, which is pretty much the only reason she's still there. And I wish it would just slow a little so we could take her home.
Last night they let us sit in the little family room with her and she had one of those big collars on so she couldn't chew on her tubes and crap that were still connected to her. She walked around a little bit and it tired her out and so she sat in my lap and started burping. Aw, kitty burps. I took a couple pictures but I haven't gotten them off of my phone yet.

So, does anyone want a short story or a stick figure for a dollar? Because my vet bill is at about $7,110 right now and she's still there and it's going up every day. And I am doing everything short of going out on the street and hooking to pay for it. :|
