WE HAD A "MASQUERADE" AT THE CELEBRATION V NONVENTION. THE THREAD IS HERE~ but here are the closet costumes Nate and I had (it was all crap we scrounged up/used from other costumes except for Nate's cheap 70'S GUY, BLACK WIG -- that's what it was called). Cause really, there aren't enough Kyps and Zekks out there. IT'S SO DISAPPOINTING. :(

So remember I said we brought Dragon*Con to lusa_thul a couple weekends ago since she can't make it this year? Which, you know, actually meant LET'S GEEK AROUND IN STAR WARS COSTUMES AND TALK ABOUT THE CRUXSHADOWS? WELL I HAS PHOTOS NOW, hur hur.

For the YJK outfit, I made a whole new bolero and pair of shorts the night before we went over to Emily's (which is why the ones in these pictures look different than the ones in these pictures - and I'm not sure which colors/set I like better -- the greenish brown or the new reddish ones...) so there's a lot of things I'm gonna fix with them. I've already hemmed the shorts a bit shorter and I'll be attaching the bottom and top layers of the boleros together at some point soon.

BUT THERE WAS MUCH FUN TO BE HAD OUT IN THE HEAT. XD

WOOOOOO! Alright, that was exciting. We figure we might take some better shots later in the year when it gets nice again (and I have my YJK outfit fixed and fit to climb trees and roll around in the dirt while wearing, muahaha). We were out in the 90+ degree weather and I got some asinine amount of bug bites (it was 15 or something) but Nate and Emily WERE CLEAR OF ALL BUG NOMS. :(

Saturday morning, Nate and I went over to lusa_thul's -- because she has graduated and she is at home right now. As of right now, she can't make it to Dragon*Con and she'll be going back to school for a couple more classes (which will be a couple months) next weekend. We figured we could bring some D*C magic to her to make up (just a little bit) for the fact that she can't make it to D*C, lololol.

Which, you know, pretty much meant WOO WOO COSTUME TIME~ It was awesome cause lusa_thul whipped up a quick Jaina costume and did a FRIGGIN' DANNI QUEE COSTUME AND IT WAS AMAZING AND WE ALL CACKLED (although Emily creeps me out when she's blonde I DON'T LIKE IT). XD I had my YJK TK (which I made a new bolero AND shorts for the night before we went to her house, hehe -- I need to fix them like made -- and my new belt -- but they worked) and also one of my very first TK outfits with me. First we all went to a giant Thrift Store (I found gloves for my Ophelia costume!) she wanted to show me, then ate at Five Guys (<333) then we went to Michael's and finally we went back to her place and pretty much geeked out (and listened to Disney music, hehe <33).

I also have a total of 18 bug bites all over my legs because of our adventures outside but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT CAUSE WE ARE DORKFACES. My legs effing itch like crazy though. These things are gigantic and insane.

Then today I made some necklaces. So besides all that and watching the first five episodes of Glee with Nate (ALL THE SINGLES LADIES, ALL THE SINGLE LADIES), that was pretty much my weekend.

My appointment with the back doctor that was supposed to be on Friday was actually on Thursday -- even when I called them a few days before and specifically asked and they said Friday. So the next possible appointment is July 1st. :| PAIN NEEDS TO GO AWAY FOR GOOOOOOOD. :| <-- THIS FACE TIMES INFINITY.

Tonight I am watching the So You Think You Can Dance that got TIVOed on Thursday night because I was too busy trying to finish up the magical Queen Mother Tenel Ka dress and jacket (which were so last minute and had a fair amount of ghettoness added to them by way of shortcuts lol -- but actually turned out pretty damn well for the amount of time) and CATCHING UP ON MY FRIENDSLISTTTTTT. I wanted to keep up with it while I was at Balticon but whenever Nate had the computer on we were too busy looking at the website precioussonja showed us -- Ultra Sabers and salivating over them.

(Did I mention I love precioussonja and her darling Mando John? Cause I do, they are awesome and are another reason to look forward to Dragon*Con~ XD)

I will also start a mega con report and resizing pictures. There were some pretty awesome ones like MANDO YELLING AT JAINA TO DO BETTER PUSHUPS and then of course, we all forced Nate into doing this. Cause no Jacen Solo is complete without a crotch thrust, you know?

Really quick though, I was absolutely shocked at one picture that was snapped cause in pictures that have both myself and Nate in them, one of us always LOOKS LIKE A GOOBER. He's making a face, my eyes are closed, I'm being an idiot (I'm really good at this ANYONE WHO HAS CONVENTION PICTURES KNOWS THIS D:) -- when I came across this picture I asked him who these people were because they certainly couldn't have been us -- BUT APPARENTLY THEY ARE.

(I guess it was because it was on the bench in the little super secret area on Hapes and they both just agreed that Jacen will be spending one night and they will both be gettin' sum. This can be the only explanation. D:)


WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? I'm going to FIX THE REST TONIGHT (Jaina and her janitorial supplies! Would you liek fries with that? MANDO CREEPS ON THE TWINS! Jacen and Jaina hang out in trees! Wait, what?) then there will be a dork party.

(Seriously, I don't think that's us. You'll see in other Balticon pictures that one of us is ALWAYS NOT READY FOR THE PICTURE. And if we're ready then we're PURPOSELY BEING STUPID. I guess that's the way we work lol what it's true. XD)

Back and neck are killing meeeeeeeee. Going here on Thursday afternoon (since the pain is suddenly horrendous in my back and neck) and back to the GI doctor next Tuesday, uggggggh. THIS IS GETTING SO OLD. :(

But I actually got a few things done this weekend! :O

Nothing super major, but I worked a bit on my magical redesign for my cosplay/personal site. And I also cut out a couple of the pieces to my Queen Mother TK outfit (hopefully for Balticon!) and made the necklace that's gonna go with it.

I was actually okay enough to go out on Saturday. Nate and I went to Wegmans (<3ohmygoodness) and Global Food (bought so many foreign snacksss) as well as Target. I was only hurting a bit and thought it was awesome and maybe this pain-thing was going away. Then we got home and hopped into a magical Netflix Xbox Party with Valerie and Brian and watched something MOTHER EFFIN' XENA WHAT WHAT (Callisto! <3) -- V&B went to bed after that and Nate and I watched Dead Space: Downfall. It was pretty good (loved the security team cause they cursed like me and I felt at home lolol). Then after I got up my back and neck protested so hard that I sat down and just stared at the wall for pretty much forever. Nate forced me to take a percocet and then I watched him play some Nintendo DS while I waited for the pain to go away. :|

Now I am debating on making a whole new magical message board filled with all kinds of chatter and creative-thing sharing and fandom love (every fandom ever -- zombie killers, jedis, tv show eyeballs, everything) and all kinds of crap (i want to see group video game nights!) and shout boxes and random shit and games, etc., etc. You know I love Mindbreak but it's very quiet and there's lots of ghost accounts and 0 post accounts and it's just filled with half mega-awesomeness and then half very old dead topics and ideas. D:

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN, EVERYONE <3: I don't know what to do about that. I have been crazy busy lately, wtf when did this happen? I finished up a few big projects/documents at work that I have been working on for a couple months and I'm extremely relieved and excited they're finished, I'm almost done with my cosplay/personal giant massive website of doom and Saturday I helped Nate move all of his stuff from Maryland to Virginia into the new place he is renting. It has been busy but good. XD

But now it is time for an update! BECAUSE I MISS YOU, LJ. <3

New Buddies: *waves to all the people from the magical friending memes as of late* Yayyyy!

Costumes: Last weekend I got some stuff done on costumes -- this hasn't happened in awhile! XD I worked on the design for the Queen Tenel Ka outfit I'm hoping to make/finish for Balticon (already got the fabric for the dress, need to get the fabric for the outer coat/cape thing), started a new pouch for my YJK Tenel Ka and painted the Pie Hole box and got shoes for my Chuck (Pushing Daisies) outfit. Sadly, Desert Rose Dee (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) has been dropped from the Dragon*Con costume list cause we're not sure Brian would really want to walk around in long johns -- which is totally understandable, hahah. And Dee would be no fun without Charlie & the Waitress (plus we lack a Mac and a Dennis). This means there is an empty spot on my D*C costume list. It will most likely be filled by Chuck or possibly the new Queen Tenel Ka outfit or some other costume I will already have (it will definitely be Queen TK if there is a Caedus floating around somewhere)~ XD

RPPPPPPPPPING: MAJOR PLOT starts today at Mr. Multi-Fandom Revelry Junction. This is exciting because mostly it's been everyone getting settled and moping around for FOUR YEARS, LOL. They're finally gonna do something. I also think I might pick up Louis (L4D) and possibly James Sunderland (SH2). But Nate and I were talking the other night... Donald Duck totally has to come into the game. MUAHA.

Making Crap!: I got my button maker in the mail last week and I have been flipping out all weekend making all kinds of buttons from pictures I had around and pictures from old magazines (Jacen Solo, Tenel Ka, Mara Jade, Hotel Dusk, Silent Hill 3/4, The Sims, Left 4 Dead, Dead Space, Xenosaga, BioShock, Mass Effect, Organization 13, Devil May Cry, THE LIST GOES ON AND ON~). I'll be putting some up on Etsy soon cause as much as I love making them I can't have them all sprawled around my workspace (there are some up right now!)~ XDDDD

Vacation: This weekend Mom, Duane and I are doing to the GLITTERING LAND OF PITTSBURGH (lol) to visit Valerie and Brian. I'll take pictures for my Photo midterm while I am there and also generally geek out, which is what we normally do when everyone is together. Also, SONIC. This will be hell on TEH WEIGHT WATCHERS, but WW can suck it for one weekend because Sonic is MAGIC (we don't have one around here -- which is why I find it so MAGICAL XD).

Then in June, Nate, Valerie, Brian and I are going to California! :o I have never been to CA (farthest I've been is Las Vegas and that was almost a decade ago) and I am excited because DISNEYLAAAAAAAAND. Now, I am a total Disney nerd. Especially when it comes to Walt Disney World. So to go to the park that started it all (excuse me, I'm having a total nerd moment here) and be strolling around the same places Walt Disney did, I will go crazy. <333

I am already apologizing to Nate, Valerie and Brian in advance because I already know (especially while waiting in line to ride their Space Mountain) I will be FLIPPING OUT AND KICKING PEOPLE IN THE FACE OUT OF EXCITEMENT. D:

Okay, so... I was thinking (I know, it's dangerous)... why did Star Wars not have one of ontd_starwars <-- these until now? Everyone has one but Star Wars. Except not anymore. Star Wars has finished their trip on the FAILBOAT. So you know what you must do now. XD

(And I know what I must do. The userinfo, layout, etc. LOL)

Nate has been playing Persona 4 and he keeps coming up with these reasons why Yosuke could be the murderer and the thing is they actually work. I told him I wasn't telling him if he was right or wrong and now he's wondering again. He's at the Heaven dungeon and he won't stop playing, lol. He is fusing Personas and just went, "LOOK THIS ONE IS NAMED KIN-KI. HEH." Oh Persona, bringing so many people together. <3

Speaking of games, I beat the main mission of Fallout 3 today. The finale (final mission and ending I got) was kind of in the gorgeous category except I'm putting more checks in the epic category. I don't know, something about following the Lyon's Pride as they follow THE 1950'S VERSION OF A MOTHEREFFING GUNDAM SHOOTING DOWN HELICOPTERS WITH A LASER FROM HIS FACE AS HE HEADS TOWARDS THE JEFFERSON MEMORIAL STEPPING ON ENCLAVE BITCHES ON THE WAY WHAT -- I think one of the reasons I love this game so much is cause I live almost right on top of where it takes place (my house should be right off the southern end of the map, haha). Now it's time for all the rest of the DLC! And then the EVIL DICK MEAN GAME. I'm a little too excited for that. Oooooops.

Look! Here is some sort of real update! IN REAL NUMBERED LIST FORM!

1.) New Year -- I have a couple resolutions. Get in shape/eat better (I'm sick of feeling like crap/being sick), budget money better (especially since I will have car payments now! XD), keep websites up-to-date (including making new ones and spiffying up webskillz), get more stuff up on cafepress and bonanzle and etsy holy crap (I have so much stuff here I need to sell - random things, fandom things, crafts, stuff I still need to make), keep up with the RPs I'm in and just be a more positive person, in general. Hehe.

2.) Car -- I have a new car! I got it today. It is a 2010 Honda CR-V (in glacier blue woooo fancy!) and it is my baby. They were able to transfer my tags over from my old car baby, so my car will still say TENEL KA lol. Last car was named the Rock Dragon (complete with shell necklace on the mirror NERD CENTRAL). So I'm thinking about upgrading to the STAR HOME for the name of this one. Hehehehe. Because yes, I am still a dork.

3.) Fandom -- this is all pretty much the same. Star Wars, Silent Hill and Stephen King are still my top three. With Disney, BioShock, zombies (including L4D and all that) and Fallout (the first game is making me giddy XD) always hanging out there near the top of the list too. Meaning I'm sure this year will be filled with more gushing about these fandoms. My apologies come to you in advance. XD

4.) Costumes -- I found my costume boxes last weekend and went through them. Hahah, talk about meeeemories. Those are eight years worth of costumes. I found some that I almost forgot about, lol. Also, I was able to set aside the costumes I am bringing back to Dragon*Con this year: Army!Buster Bluth (Arrested Development), Strike Team!Tenel Ka (Star Wars EU) & Peter McVries (The Long Walk).

I also found all the stuff from the fancy Queen Mother dress I had started making then screwed up on and just dropped it. My ideas came flooding back to me (mmm, Hapan Consortium cape) and I think I might start over on it. Not sure what I'd wear it for since Celebration V is a bust, but I'm sure I will manage. Hehe.

I basically rearranged my boxes like this: Retired Costumes, Tenel Ka Costumes, Silent Hill Costumes, Every Other Costume. XD

5.) Conventions -- unless there is a new fun con to go to, it'll probably be Katsucon and Dragon*Con for me this year. And possibly Anime USA. I'm excited about Katsucon cause it's at The Swanky Gaylord National Harbor which will be awesome cause there's like a little town in the atrium which will be perfect for when Nate and I are wandering around as PROFESSOR LAYTON AND LUKE TRITON LOLOLOL. Those games = love. And we all (me, Nate, Valerie, every Nintendo DS owner/player, haha) always make fun of Layton and Luke for being so horribly awesome and dorky. Plus, Nate is a giant. Meaning the height difference will work to our advantage! OH SNAP. (Also, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories costumes: yes, please. Haha, except Nate will not be in Drunk Dad jacket -- he'll be in normal Harry jacket.)

I GUESS FIVE UPDATES IS ENOUGH. Time go work some sites or the board or RP or do something PRODUCTIVE!

Thanksgiving was good. My sister and her husband hahahaha I am still not used to saying that XD (lol you might know them from the board, D*C, etc.) were here and we ate lots of food and played lots of Xbox and acted like nerds. Like yesterday when Valerie and I went into Joann's and went craft/fabric/nerd crazy while Brian and Nate went into Game Parlor next door and totally geeked out over cards/games/etc.

Yesterday was Valerie's birthday and I made her a ghetto red velvet cake with a BOOMER ON IT. He was barfing all over her cake. It's way cheesier looking than I make it sound. But it was still awesome. XDDDDDDD

I WANT TO WORK ON COSTUMES SO BAD. I think I might have my D*C 2010 list finalized too. Possibly. So that's always fun. Although, Valerie and I were talking about another group thing in Joann's yesterday, so that might go somewhere too, MUAHAHAHAHA~

Then my mom and I put up Christmas decorations today and I got giddy. Because I love the holiday season. <333

P.S. I put some junk on ebay that I need to get rid of (I WAS CLEANING BOXES OUT THIS MORNING). Well, I don't want to get rid of it, but all the items need good homes cause I have to clean up around here. :( If anyone sees anything they want they can bid on it or let me know and maybe we can make a deal woooo (except for the Supernatural magazine cause there's already people watching it)!

HERE IT ALL BE. Selphie (FF8) action figure, Basch (FF12) mini-fig, FFX trinkets, Shakespeare cheat book (XD), Radiohead cd/book, amazing/creepy SW prequel toys, WK pencil board... I also have a Persona 2 manga that I haven't put up yet but was thinking about just asking people on here about it anyways. So I can put up a picture of that if anyone wants to see it, hur hurrrr.
