Okay, someone in the Jacen Solo Fan Club thread on TFN.

One interesting aspect of LOTF Jacen is that he might be becoming an Ayn Rand style Objectivist.

A conversation in Fury:

"History decides who's a criminal, Jacen."
"Actually, the law decides who's a criminal."

That reminds me of Atlas Shrugged.

And we all know:

The architecture and society of Rapture was strongly inspired by the works of Ayn Rand, especially Atlas Shrugged -- Bioshock is heavily inspired by the works of Ayn Rand and her philosophy, Objectivism. Rapture's founder, Andrew Ryan, is named for and inspired by Rand. Fontaine and Atlas are named for Rand's two greatest works, The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged.

This led to the thought "Jacen Solo in Rapture" and then that led to like ten trillion amazing/horrible fanfiction ideas. Like, ALLANA AS A LITTLE SISTER.

Darth Caedus = Andrew Ryan, OH GAWD. (Andrew Ryan has lots of bitches! So does Jacen! Jasmine Jolene, the blonde whiny thing - Tahiri! Diane McClintock, who TURNS ON ANDREW RYAN - Tenel Ka! Julie Langford, the blonde scientist - Danni Quee!)

Plasmids = the Force, Arcadia = Yavin 4, Atlas and his army = silly, piddly Jedi! Ryan ruining Arcadia's trees = Caedus burning Kashyyyk! The Great Chain = The Will of the Force!

This would also mean Jacen Solo in spats, and suspenders and possibly a newsboy cap or bifocals or a nice sweater and cologne. If he was all 40's-ed out I would die. Like, holy crap, Errol Flynn or Cary Grant.

And you know this would make me a very happy fangirl. D:
