DRAGON*CON 2010 - Monday & Tuesday!

(Under this cut: more Expanded Universe stuff that totally devolves into something horrible XD, Celldweller & Blue Stahli are so nice lol, let's hit the roadddddd)
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH, 2010
It was nice to sleep in a little later that morning. Ashley headed off to a panel and Sara, Nate and I met Valerie and Brian to make one more pass at the dealers/exhibition halls and the art show. Also, Nate and I were told that Klayton would be at the Celldweller booth around noon to sign stuff and meet people so we knew where we were gonna be at noon. XD
I picked up some stuff in the exhibition hall and around noon we went out and hovered near the Celldweller booth. We ended up at the booth twice, once when Klayton got there (Nate and I got him to sign cds) and then again when Bret showed up later. We talked to Bret for a little bit and we asked him about his album and junk - he was hilarious and an absolute doll. We asked him if he would sign our badges and he was happy to. Then we got a picture with him and Klayton...
I love this because Nate can't spare an arm to put around at least one of them even because he needs to rock with BOTH HAAAAAANDS. This is such a fanboy picture of him, I love it. XD Other things I love about this picture: Bret's expression, how Klayton is also rocking and also his crazy arm muscles. This is because he plays EVERY INSTRUMENT EVER.
After the picture we asked Klayton if he could sign our badges too and said Bret got to them first though. He said of course he could and he also said Bret got to everything first. This is where he said, as he was wandering over to the table to get a sharpie, "Bret gets to everything first. I was making out with this girl and I started to pull her shirt down and it said BRET WAS HERE." XDDDDDD
I also scored cause I got one of the Celldweller shirts and the design I picked ended up having the lyrics to my favorite new song on the back. IT'S LIKE THE FORCE TOLD ME TO GET THAT ONE LOL.
Later we ended up back at the art show so Nate could check on the puppets. When we made it to the table that had all the stuff on it, the only thing on it was the red puppet. Brian and Nate had been talking, and figured Nate would either win both puppets or neither puppet. Apparently someone liked the blue one enough to bid on it, but didn't like the red one, I guess? So Nate won the red puppet and lovingly took the darling thing in his arms and carried it to the line to pay for it.
Monday was actually kind of lazy and nice. There was no rushing around and everything was empty. XD
Nate and I met up with Saki and Natalie later in the afternoon to take some pictures of their Junior Jedi Knights Anakin and Tahiri costumes! :D

After that, we debated on dinner and Valerie, Brian, me, Nate, Sara and Ashley headed to the Hard Rock Cafe. They played Coheed and Cambria when we sat down so I was a happy camper. :D Our waiter was cool too. I had a triple cherry cola (IT'S CHERRY COKE WITH BOOZE) but it didn't get me as loopy as the electric lemonade the night before. XD I also got this amazing macaroni and cheeseeeeee. It was a good dinner with awesome bitches and we planned a giant group Disney World trip for the beginning of 2012. SO STAY TUNED IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO COME TOO! Cause we'll start figuring out details soon. XD
On the way back, we went through all the hotels and-- OOPS I AM BREAKING RULES--

We're dorks, I'm sorry. D:
We headed to the front desk to fix our hotel bill (split it up and all that jazz XD) and then found Saki and Natalie! IT WAS EXPANDED UNIVERSE CRACK TIME.
Basically, we all wanted to get pictures together as Caedus, Ben, Tahiri and Queen Momma Tenel Ka (since we were Jacen and Warrior Momma...? Tenel Ka when we were all in EU costumes last) and Monday night was the best free time to do it.
Now... it was a little later Monday night. So we're all exhausted from the weekend and everything is catching up with us and we're all giddy and running on fumes and this whole set of pictures just ended up being crack. It went something like ONE SERIOUS PICTURE, TEN PICTURES OF US BEING DUMBASSES, ONE SERIOUS PICTURES, MORE DUMBASSERY. Valerie and Brian came downstairs with us to take pictures before heading back to the Marriott to sleep (leaving the four of us to goof off more, BAD MOVE LOL).

Seriously, do not ever leave me, Nate, Saki and Natalie alone ever again because the Expanded Universe will become a horrible, horrible place and we will cause so much more trouble.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH, 2010
Ashley left early this morning and left a darling note in the bathroom for us. <3 Sara left a little later and we had all decided we need a gathering before D*C 2011 SO WE WILL ALL GET ON THIS, YESSSSS?
The room was lonely after that. Nate and I looked at each other and looked at the mess we still needed to pack (we had done a lot the night before pre-Hard Rocking, but we still had some to do). Somehow though, puppet got put in front of the TV with Mace's martini glass. XD
We met Valerie and Brian in the Marketplace for breakfast and chatted about the weekend. It was a nice quiet morning and really creepy cause it was so empty.
THEN WE WERE OFF (after we got our car and put the luggage in it and all that junk, of course, lol).
At some point in North Carolina, Nate and I got pretty delirious and I took the puppet out and started having him sing to Celldweller. This is a giant mistake because Nate loves puppets and gets distracted by them and he was driving and he was like LOL LOOK AT PUPPET and I'm like HOLY SHIT NATE LOOK AT ROAD. Except I was stupid and kept playing with the puppet. Then we cackled and cackled and cackled cause long car rides make us crazy.
AND WE GOT HOME. AND DRAGON*CON 2010 WAS OVER. And I was officially a zombie the rest of the week.
Of course, my mind has instantly gone to D*C 2011. And also figuring out costumes for it. I'm sure there will be a Star Wars one or two.
