So
lusa_thul and I went out today and shopped for costumey things. We got some stuff for her to finish up some D*C things, which she already had most of the pieces for anyway (like the DRESSES XD) -- I got some peacocktastic things and lots of beads for the crazy undertaking of the Tenel Ka outift I'm making after D*C. That won't be able to go anywhere for fear of me BREAKING THE WHOLE THING. O_O
And
omicron1337 zomg, we all need to like have a PACIFICA-TESTING event sometime here soon -- so we can all see how many cars we will be taking to D*C. XD
More cutting of the Organization XIII coat tomorrow. As well as more Disney planning for family trip early next year. And more cleaning. Plus, maybe putting a couple things on ebay.
BUT HERE IS THE LAST PART OF THE FLORIDA/DISNEY MAGICAL ADVENTURE FROM THE END OF MAY. MUAH~
FRIDAY; 5/26: We woke up and got ready and were told to meet Valval and Bribri at their room early, SO WE WERE THERE. EARLY. We had Mace. It was time to go MGM Studios (o, sorry. disney studios. wtf.) -- for Star Wars Weekends zomg. Valerie's friend Elizabeth, by ultra coinkeedink, was in Disney World the same time with family and friends and we were gonna meet up with her that day.
disneymgm studios: We met up with Liz outside the gates and went to wait in line with all the other people, which were pretty much all Star Wars fans. There was a clonetrooper on top of the stores to the left when you walked into the park, directing you places, which was awesome. But he was probably reaaaaally sweaty. Jason and I fanned and teeheeeed but Star Tours wasn't our destination (hell, I don't even think we rode Star Tours O_O) --- the Tower of Terror was. Which is like the hottest ride ever. We all piled in and did the drops. Since it's random everytime, I should've counted but I was a loser and was too busy squealing like a little girl. XD It was a lot though. I'm really glad they made it like that now. One drop just wasn't enough.
After that, Valerie and Liz headed to the Star Wars shop while Brian, Jason and I went on the ROCK N' ROLLER COASTER ZOMG. The wait was actually fairly short, which was good. And we got on with no problem. Brian got stuck next to this talking dude, and Jason screamed "DOUGHNUT!" when we went through the big doughnut, cause he knows how much I love them. :P I hate doughnuts, but I love that ride.
We met back up with the hos and went to do the STAR WARS EDITION OF WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE HAY. And as we were waiting to get in, I was watching the Aurra Sing harass people. She was AWESOME. These guys would all try to put their arms around her for pictures and she'd push them off and grab their neck and put her blaster up to their head for the picture instead. XD
We got into the show and sat down and had a ball, Warwick Davis was the guest host along with the host dude, and he made fun of Leprechaun and was as jovial as always. There were assholes in the audience, you know the kind I'm talking about. "WHAT? WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS THIS STUFF? NERDS. HUR HUR STAR WARS."
... WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING AT STAR WARS WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE A SHIT STAIN ABOUT IT? Wasting all this money to go to a theme park to MAKE FUN OF PEOPLE? SPEND YOUR TIME ELSEWHERE, PRICK. I wanted to rip their heads off and shit down their necks, thx. (Teddy Duchamp <3)
We piddled around after that, checking stores and what-not. Aaron Allston was supposed be signing Betrayal there the next day and since it was before the release date of the book, Jason and I were being nerdy little hopefuls that they might've accidentally set a couple copies out early, WHICH THEY DIDN'T. But we didn't mind too much. We'd be getting it a few days after that. We got our pictures with the EMPORER and OMG MACE!!111 (which will be on Mace's LJ soon, he's updating this weekend!) -- We grabbed some lunch, Liz left us after a mishap with her SW merchandise (;-;), PHOTOPASSed at some point -- and then we were done with the STUDIOS OF DOOOOOOOM. This is the point where we went back to the hotel and NAAAAAAAAAPPED.
And then the shit began. O_O
MAGIC KINGDOMof doom!: So we had reservations at the Plaza Restaurant for 6:35 PM, I believe. We left the hotel with more than enough time and hopped in the car to head on over to the MK. As we're driving over to the Ticket & Transportation Center (which is the only place where you can hop a monorail to the Magic Kingdom), it starts sprinkling. Meh, whatever. Right? OH HELLS NAW.
We pull into a spot, jump out and bound over to the tram and hop on as the rain gets a teensy bit harder. It's fucking POURING on the way over, the rain saying "HAHA ROOF WUT?" and getting all over us anyways. We get off the tram and splash through puddles and get drenched and make our way up to the monorail platform where we're dripping wet. We all pile onto a monorail and get shuttled over to the park, where it's still raining like a bitch. We get up to the gate and decide to get ponchos. Yeah, we were already soaked to the bone, but we had done a good job up until that point with keeping our stuff (maps, cameras, phones) dry. And we wanted to keep our stuff dry. So we all got Mickey ponchos. They were very dry and toasty and warm -- and they kept our stuff dry.
We wandered over to the restaurant, where the waiting space was outside (it was still raining, not as hard, but a good steady stream) -- and of course all these punks who weren't waiting to eat in the restaurant were crowded outside under the awning like a bunch of whores. The hostesses were getting pretty pissed and it was kind of funny, especially when they yelled at the family of total assholes standing near us. All the asses inside were stalling at their tables cause they didn't want to go out into the rain, so there was a backup -- but we ended up getting inside. And Valerie and I took our sneakers off under the table cause those and our socks were SOAKED. We ate our food (and our ice cream zomg) which was bitchin'. And by that time the rain had pretty much stopped. We wanted to get new socks, so we headed on over to the Emporium where Brian, Jason and I just ended up buying new sandals, since our socks and shoes were drenched still. Valerie's shoes were fairly dry at that point, so she just bought socks.

WHOSE LEG IS WHO ZOMG?
The Emporium is also where I saw someone wearing the coolest hat ever. It's basically Donald's ass. In Mickey's Philharmagic, Donald gets krunked through the wall after he's chucked towards the audience and his butt sticks out of the wall when you look at the back of the theater. So they made a hat of Donald's butt, with his legs sticking up and his tail and on the front there is a little patch of him looking pissed off. I went across the store and asked the kid where he got it and he told me and I was all, "OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH, BRILLIANT HAT"... so you know I had to get one. Donald = theduck man.
WE PHOTOPASSED! And then to put Magic Kingdom bluntly and also because I can't remember the order we did them in:
Tomorrowland: My favorite "land" of the MK. AND HELLO TOMORROWLAND TRANSIT AUTHORITY. I WANT YOUR TEN MINUTES LONG LITTLE TRAIN BABIES. We went on Stitch's Great Escape, I believe a little bit after we ate dinner. His burp was classic. Yet stinky. Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin was after we had gone a few other places. We rode that and Space Mountain later in the night (Space Mountain is still SO HOT) --- and Valerie and I got our asses kicked at Buzz. We swore our guns we're broken. XD
Mickey's Toontown: We got a PHOTOPASS picture with Mickey and went through Mickey's house, where I pointed at something in his kitchen and this totally loud buzzer went off. THE DISNEY FUZZ ARE AFTER ME. O_O
Frontierland: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad = <3. And Splash Mountain, where we got stuck in a log with two of the most annoying little whores ON THE PLANET. They laughed at EVERYTHING and SPIT ON EACH OTHER (which proved their absolute retardedness) -- AND THEN, they leaned out of the FUCKING LOG AND TOUCHED THE WALL CAUSING THE WHOLE RIDE TO STOP SO THE CAST MEMBERS COULD YELL AT THEM. The part that gets me the most was that their PARENTS were sitting in front of them and were doing NOTHING to stop their daughters from being little dickfaced snotnoses. I wish I could've thrown them all out of the log. Seriously. GO EAT A BAG OF DICKS, PLEASE.
Fantasyland: Snow White's Scary Adventures, which even to this day is still fairly scary. When that bitch totally pops up as the hag makes me jump every time. And I bought my DONALD ASSHAT!!11
Adventureland: The only thing we rode here was a quick jump on Aladdin's Magic Carpets -- our tilt control didn't work, which was depressing, but the camels spit on us! XD
Liberty Square: The Haunted Mansion! You can't go to Disney and skip this ride, or else you are a DIRTY PIRATE HOOKER. Jason and I got in our DOOMBUGGY (best. word. ever.) -- and I relayed to him the story about the cast member who jumped around the edge of me and Valerie's car once and almost made me pee my pants.
OKAY SO THEN WISHES. Which is a totally hot, hot fireworks SPECTALULALALALUUURE. LIEK WOWS N SHIT. We sat down on the bridge to Tomorrowland and met up with Liz again, who sat with us to watch the fireworks. We were sitting right under the Tinkerbell wire, so when the pretty lit-up Tinkerbell took the zipwire from the top of Cinderlla Castle to the bottom, she went right over us and was waving it shit and the fireworks and the castle and just omg I was a total little girl that whole time.
After Wishes, we did some of the rides above and then totally beat, we dragged ourselves back out to the monorail and back out to the parking lot, where we went back to the hotel and DIED OMG.
P.S. I LOVE DONALD DUCK, PLZKTHX.
SATURDAY; 5/27: This was the day we were meeting Dad and Christy and Toria at DISNEYQUEST! So we woke up as late as possible, said bye to the CB Resort and trundled on over in our RENTALMOBILE to Downtown Disney, where we parked our asses out front of the House of Blues and waited for them to show up.
I saw Toria first -- and I really didn't recognize her. I only realized it was her once I saw her stop in front of DQ and look around suspiciously. I called her name and she turned and ran over and we dorked only like eleven and twelve year olds can do. And my god, she's gotten all tall and her hair's gotten dark and I'm just all WHERE THE HELL HAVE I BEEN? We wandered over to Dad and Christy and they met Jason and some hobknknknonobbing and chatting and then we all go in Disney Quest and party, like always in that place. Cyberspace Mountain, THE OMG PIRATE GOLD GET IN YOUR SHIP AND SHOOT SHIT GAME, Buzz Lightyear and his ASTRO BLASTER BALLS and stuff. I love that place. I sat down with Dad and Christy while Valval, Bribri and Jason were getting their food and Toria was off playing games and he was asking me how I was doing and all kinds of shit. Then of course, he gets into his weird brand of politics, where he just bitches about politics in general. And we ALL knew that was coming.
XD
Virgin Megastore after that, where there was a bunch of nothing. Then off to EDGEWATER/NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FLORIDA ZOMG! The ride took about 45 minutes, we listened to the Cruxshadows and I dozed off most of the way. We ate at BLACKBEARD'S HURRRRR ARRRGGGG that night, where Toria downed a whole plate of oysters in like three minutes flat and I had some damn good shrimp scampi.
SUNDAY; 5/28: This day, Bribri had come down with a nasty, nasty, whorecake stomach bug, so he was confined to the bedroom he and Valerie were staying in. Well, he wasn't really confined, more like he just laid there and dozed and slept and read things. We were all supposed to go out on the boat with Dad and Christy, it was Christy's brother's boat and no one had told my dad and her how shambly it was. Valerie stayed with Brian at the house while Jason and I went out on the boat with them. We were going to J.B.'s Fish Camp, which is a restaurant you can dock your boat at and junk -- it's supposed to take 20 minutes to get there by boat. It took us 40. XD
They called up my Uncle Joe and Aunt Honey, who came over to J.B.'s on their boat and met up with us. My dad and Joe are like always arguing with each other, it's classic to watch. So you know when my dad was supposed to follow Joe back on the boat (Joe knew a better and shorter way) there was some awesome Burgess brother banter. That's the best kind of banter because it's all so DUUUUUUH. When we finally got back, Valerie and Jason and I sat in the living room and talked and Brian came out with a box of crackers and an empty juice cup looking all disheveled and Valerie goes, "Do you need more juice?" And he just responds: "No, I'm just lonely." So we were all, "AWWW PO' PO' BABY." And then we sat around and talked. Valerie and Jason and I then went out to McDonalds, Brian didn't want any of that skank.
MONDAY; 5/29: The big family get-together. OH NOES PLZ HELP EVERYONE, HIDE YOUR KIDS. We spent the afternoon at my Aunt Sue's house where four of my cousins (and collectively, their seven children), aunts and uncles and so on were present. And man, when five of the six Burgess kids are collected it gets crazy. My dad, I still think, is the oddest. After we partied with them for a bit (and got asked by cousins when Valerie and I were having kids O_O) we left and drove around for awhile. We went to the awesome playground on the water and then drove up near Daytona. AND THEN WE WENT TO SONIC OMGOMGOMGOGM SONIC OMG. sadfjakjdf SONIC LOVE.
TUESDAY; 5/30: This day was simple. Drove down crappy International Drive, saw the hottest convention center, like, ever (HELLO C4 WTF ARE YOU DOING IN LA?) -- then we ate at FRIENDLY'S! Jason and I bought copies of Betrayal, squeed like the dorks we are, then we went to airport and all went home! PHEW BITCHES. XD
So there's my story and I'm sticking to it. Yeaaaaah. Muahaha~ XD

Disney
Date: 2006-07-16 05:45 am (UTC)I was in that "I'm too cool for this stage" of childhood. You know, the one where everybody and their stuffed animals want to shoot the snot-nosed brat who lives in denial about magic n' shit. Because kids are supposed to be filled with light and joy and glitter.
Final words: always love Space Mountain.
Re: Disney
Date: 2006-07-17 11:16 pm (UTC)And I know exactly how the "too cool for Disney" phase went -- I've been there. XD The one where you're just like GIMMIE SOME RIDES AND THEN LETS GO SLEEP, PLZ. Oh I know that feeling. But then the phase magically passes. I don't understand. I seriously think Disney has something in their air. O_O!

Date: 2006-07-16 11:34 pm (UTC)We do need to take the Pacifica out for driving late at night. This friday I think nate and I are going to the beach, but yes, we will drive it sometime.
If we can't fit everything in it comfortably, then I think I am gonna just drive my car down, and jason can follow in the truck. I can drive my car easier than mom's car.
So yeah, that's the plan
And you have an aunt sue too? Woweee!

I rode it four times without getting off while the other crazy people were waiting in line for Space Mountain. *fear homg*I want to go back. Heck, I wanted to go back while we were in Florida last week, but apparently I am the only one ruled entirely by my inner child and nobody else wanted to go. *sigh*
