Sep. 27th, 2008 01:01 pmSILENT HILL 5 WHAT. Alex Shepherd is a Private First Class and he's 22 and his jacket oh my goodness SO PRETTY. The fact that he's a soldier coming home from war and not just a "normal guy" [lol james sunderland = not normal], is so slick cause it makes the possibilities for massive mind-effing ENDLESS.

Alex Shepherd - The player character and protagonist of Silent Hill: Homecoming. Alex is a soldier who comes home from overseas to find that his father and later his brother Joshua have disappeared and his mother has gone into catatonia. Around 22 years of age.
Elle Hollaway An old school friend of Alex. It is confirmed that she will aid Alex on his journey and she will have a role similar to Maria's. Probably in early twenties, her mother is Judge Hollaway.
Joshua Shepherd - Alex's brother and only sense of stability after what has happened to his mother and father. But with Alex's return he somehow disappears, leaving Alex to find him, hoping not to lose the one last thing he cherishes. Joshua continues a tradition just as Cheryl from Silent Hill and Mary from Silent Hill 2, as being the lost loved one the main character sets out to find. Around 12 years of age.
Adam and Lillian Shepherd - Mother to Joshua and Alex Shepherd. When Alex returns home, he finds his mother in a catonic state, and tells him how everyone has gone. Adam Shepherd is Alex and Joshua's dad, and he is missing. A recent preview video revealed he was the Sheriff of Shepherds Glen and that he has a military past.
Travis Grady - The main character of Silent Hill Origins returns in Homecoming; he is seen dropping Alex off in Shepherds Glen, although it is hinted he will make future appearances in the game.
Deputy Wheeler - a police officer in Shepherds Glen, and the first black character in a Silent Hill game.
(WOOOOOOOOO DEPUTY WHEELER!!!!! ALSO, COUNTRY-FRIED TRAVIS~ <3 LOOK AT JOSHUA ON THE COVER HE LOOKS SO EVIL!)
And I hope this game contains such gems as "Huh, radio. What's going on with that radio?" and "A dead person can't write a letter." --- I wouldn't be opposed to Alex giving a perfect Silent Hill staple, "WHAT... THE... HELL...?" either. XD
(LOOK AT THE XBOX 360 SH5 ACHIEVEMENT LIST! SPOILERS! !!!!!! OUT OF ORDER! AND WHY IS THE SIAM ACHIEVEMENT CALLED WHAT IT'S CALLED?? SHIT SHIT SHIT AWESOME. Also, killing the Feral/Dog = Eddie's Legacy, LOLOLOL! <3)
P.S. I have mentioned this before. But Alex's last name is Shepherd, and James' dead wife's full name is Mary Shepherd-Sunderland. People are bitching about how Pyramid Head is tied into James' storyline exclusively (the reasons PH manifests around James, MAJOR SPOILER WHAT WHAT, etc.) -- so maybe Pyramid Head is connected to the family somehow -- then people can STFU AND ENJOY PYRAMID HEAD.
P.S.S. I still loved interacting with James' dad in Silent Hill 4. He was on crack, yo. UMBILICAL CORD?
