So Ronnie and I started playing Resident Evil 5 tonight (he was like BUY IT BUY IT DID YOU BUY IT lololololol). I am pleasantly surprised by it so far. It seems much smoother and a lot better than the demo.

And oh my shit the motorcycle zombies left me giddy. I want more of them (I have a feeling there will be a lot of them). That scene was almost epic enough to be on TRAPPED IN A BARN WITH LUIS AND LEON levels.

(Yes, Chris is hot. But not Leon Sex Scott Kennedy hot.)

I also love how my Resident Evil LJ tag will always be re4 no matter which RE game I speak of. Hehehe.

And I kind of hate to say that I actually really love it. Holy shit, I'm sorry, Zac as Phillip wins (and I'm not just saying that cause he looks like Kevin Zegers -- but still + points for that, lol). IT MAKES ME FEEL DIRTY ZAC WHY DO YOU HAVE TO LOOK LIKE KEVIN AND BE SO PRETTY?

(And this was totally not an excuse to use a Kevin Zegers icon. Still, Zac + Kevin = long lost brothers.)

OKAY. So in 2006, Erin, my mom and I went to Wolf Trap to see Play! A Video Game Symphony. It was amazing (see here). There were songs from Final Fantasy and Silent Hill(!) and just omg it was awesome. But but butbtubtubtutbutbtubtut...

In addition to the music, VGL concerts also include video footage from the games, synchronized to the music and projected on large screens at performances. Due to ESRB regulations and the environment of the show, all footage is approved for all ages, meaning graphic violence in some of the game music played (ie: Halo, Medal of Honor, God of War) is never shown during a concert. Some VGL concerts may also include exclusive "never-before-seen" video game footage from games that have yet to be released.

VGL also boasts energetic lighting (also synchronized with the music), special fx, interactive music segments with the crowd, pre and post show festival activities, and interactive onstage games for selected audience members to participate in. Examples include an onstage Frogger competition, and a "live-action" rendition of Space Invaders.
