ATTN. JAINA COSTUMERS GOING TO DRAGON*CON, LOL: Is anyone 100% sure they're going to D*C and if so, do you want in on the Jedi Strike Team costume? We most likely have a Jacen and maybe an Anakin (not sure on that one yet) but we don't have a Jaina yet! :( (EDIT: WE MIGHT HAVE A JAINA, MAYBE NOW? :O)

ATTN. ANYONE GOING TO DRAGON*CON: I think it's time to have a Dragon*Con AIM chat, no really. XD

And as for Dragon*Con (232 days left!), here is my costume list so far! And by so far I mean: "NO MORE ADDITIONS. LET'S SEE HOW MUCH IT CHANGES BEFORE THIS FALL."

1.) PETER MCVRIES (Stephen King's The Long Walk) - For the fourth year in a row this will be returning, like it probably always will. Hehe. It always makes my whole convention when we get approached by the 1 - 3 people who are like, "HOLY CRAP I REMEMBER THAT BOOK! AWESOME!!" Those people = love. (WITH: the usual suspects -- Baker, Olson, Harkness and Abraham. The addition of a Stebbins or a Garraty would be amazing.)

2.) KALE LONGO (Star Wars EU - Death Troopers) - Sadly there is no picture of him. jdfkasdfkajdsfkaj I can't wait for this you have no idea. Love the book and love Kyle for even suggesting this -- then love Natalie for pushing it on and Nate for jumping in all excited as well. (WITH: this gang -- Natalie as Trig, Kyle as Dr. Zahara Cody & Nate as Han Solo w/ Beanie Chewbacca)

3.) TENEL KA (Star Wars EU - New Jedi Order: Star by Star) - So that mistake of looking at SbS has turned into this again which means lots of goofing off and lots of cheesy pictures being taken. I CAN'T WAIT. (WITH: THESE THUGS~)

4.) ELAINE MARLEY (The Monkey Island series, specifically The Secret of Monkey Island) - I have nothing to say about this except YES PLEASE. (WITH: Nate as Guybrush Threepwood and others possibly)

5.) EVELYN CARNAHAN (The Mummy) - I have always wanted to do this outfit cause it's simple and adorable and from my favorite part in the movie. Plus, it's a costume my hair would actually work for! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? (WITH: Nate as dusty Rick O'Connell)

6.) BUSTER BLUTH (Arrested Development) - AWWW YEAH. ARMY BUSTER. YOU'RE KILLING ME, BUSTER. I wore this back in 2006 and I just watched the series again so it's time to bring it back and to add more than just the few we had last time. (WITH: this gang -- Valerie as Maeby, Brian as George Michael, Sara as Lindsay, Ashley as Lucille & Nate as GOB w/ Franklin)

7.) "DESERT ROSE" DEE (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - Hell yes. Valerie and I were talking about these costumes and they should be fun, so we're looking forward to them. The show rocks way too hard. (WITH: Valerie as the waitress, Brian as Charlie & Ashley as Desert Grape Artemis -- along with others if we find them, hahahaha)

8.) DEAD RED SHIRT (Star Trek) - I'm gonna find one that doesn't have much makeup. I was covered in enough this past year (and it was awesome) and since I have a crapload of costumes, I want to spend lots of time out in them, so they all have to be ones that don't take me long to put on. So I am going to find a simple dead Red Shirt. XD (WITH: RED SHIRT GROUP)

So hey, 3 or 4 out of 8 are dudes. That's pretty good for me cause usually they're almost all dudes except TK, lolololol. Also, 3 of those costumes are already done. So that's even better.

(Now let's see. That's 5 pairs of shoes [Converse - Peter, black combatish boots - Kale, Buster & possibly red shirt, femme!black boots - Elaine & Tenel Ka, black heels - Dee, black slippers - Evelyn] and 2 wigs -- Kale and Dee. XD)

I am back from Mexico! Here is a list of random things (vacation and not) that I can't put into a nicely formed entry correctly lol.

1.) I got to swim/train/goof off with dolphins one of the days I was there and my Mom and I were nerding the whole time. I got to belly ride across the big pool on Linco the dolphin and he was so cute and jdfajkdjfakdfjksdjfksfjasdkfjaksdfj it was really fast and I was freaking out and DOLPHEEEEEEEEEEEEENS <3

2.) Ronnie singing the Jonas Brothers while a little tipsy is something I want as my ringtone. BAAAAAAAAYBEEEHHHHHHHH

3.) I will post a few pictures from the trip soon. Cozumel is very pretty. Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ida kind of went around us but gave us some crazy wind.

4.) Celebration V is definitely not going to be in Baltimore, meaning I most likely will not be going. Unless it is in Orlando. Then maybe I will go for a day or two and hit Disney World the rest of the time. XD

5.) NEW STEPHEN KING BOOK TOMORROW.

6.) Downloading the Left 4 Dead 2 demo right now.

7.) Last night when Mom and I got home the cats were like O_______O? OH HAY WAIT IT'S YOU GUYS. Then they proceeded to get in our suitcases.

8.) Just watched the episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia from last week. Kitten Mittens Mittons were hilarious. And DICK TOWEL! http://www.dicktowel.com (NSFW LOL)~

I AM GLAD TO BE BACK. NOW TO CATCH UP ON THE FRIENDSLIST. XD

"I WILL SMACK YOUR FACE RIGHT OFF YOUR FACE!"

I LOVE THIS SHOW. SO HARD. THE CAT EYE CONTACTS AND THE SNAPPING AND THE SINGING. TROLL TOLL~

DENNIS IS WEARING HIS SPANDEX AGAIN. KJASK:FJDF :KDFJ DSFIehwaklndsf

"YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS, BITCH."

"DON'T SAY STAGE FREEZE, JUST DO IT."

YOUR DICK.

Okay, so my favorite exchange last night:

Dennis (to gas station attendant): We're gonna hit you right where it hurts.
Charlie (after a few beats): Your dick.
Dennis: What?! No, Charlie! His wallet!

sdkjafkjsdfjask CHARLIE <3 WILD CARD, BITCHES!

Also, someone needs to be Green Man at Dragon*Con next year. Wear that and carry around a beer and dance randomly.

So, a book about Zekk. WTF is going on. :O He should go to Hapes with Tenel Ka. Seriously though, they could really make this super awesome or really screw things up. I will have to keep my eye on this Blood Oath book and any spoilerage that pops-up about it.

Also, Troy Denning gets the last book of the Fate of the Jedi series. MAYBE HE WILL KILL OFF JAINA TOO. THEN HIS CIRCLE WOULD BE COMPLETE~ XD

OKAY. AND IT MIGHT'VE BEEN JUST ME. But last night on Supernatural when Sam Winchester was totally exorcising that stank bitch demon out of that waitress by himself I was like, "THAT'S RIGHT BABY USE YOUR SITH POWERS!!!1"

This further works into my puppy eyes!Sam Winchester = Jacen Solo and New!post-deadDean!Sam Winchester = Darth Caedus. Aaaaaaaand Jared Padalecki would play a bitchin' Jacen/Caedus. Aaaaaaand this also makes Dean (newly heavenly-appointed Deano) JAINA SOLO. TIME TO STOP YOUR BROTHER, JAINA DEAN JEAN...?

(Ruby = Lumiya? John and Mary = Han and Leia? Jessica = Tenel Ka? Bobby = I'm totally gonna have to go with Kyp on this one, AMIRITE?)

In other Supernatural-related asshattery, I've also decided that it would be a big STUPID LAME LET'S RIDE THE FAILBOAT if Sam is doing some sexy time with Ruby. This would mean that Sam Winchester is essentially raping the girl whose body Ruby took over. And Sam might've changed since Dean died, but Sam was always the protector of the innocent civilians and NO WE HAVE TO SAVE THE PEOPLE!!11 -- so for him to be banging the shit out of some poor girl (or... a dead body...)... just no. I don't think he's changed that much. *shudder*

(For real, at the bottom: FORCE POWERS WHAT.)

ELECTRIC DREAM MACHINE COSTUMES AT D*C NEXT YEAR? (OMG, and we need the McPoyles -- and GREEN MAN!)

The season three DVDs came out today. I can't wait till season four starts. dkjfakjdsfdjfkas I LOVE THIS SHOW.

(dsjkfjadskljfskd this episode where Dennis goes to the club and takes drugs and starts raving = CLASSIC.)

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL~ I love the entry that's the first chapter of Dennis' erotic memoir. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS DAMN SHOW TO COME BACK.
tenel_ka: ([ bioshock - try this! ])
Was it just me, or did Tim Gunn say something to the effect of "I have to go throw myself in front of a taxi cab after I slit my wrists!" -- in the previews for next week's Project Runway...? BECAUSE LOL TIM GUNN. <33333

Here are some random tidbits. RANDOM YAY!

1.) HEY MTV, FUCK YOU. THIS IS NOT NEEDED. NOT AT ALL.

2.) aklsjdfkldsjfjk VEGAS. CRISS ANGEL. WADE ROBSON. CIRQUE DU SOLEIL. The new pictures! The second picture -- the grayish dress with all the swirls on it = OMG <3333. AND THE BLACK OUTFIT IN THE THIRD ROW IS CREEPY. LOOK AT HER NAILS. D: I CAN'T WAIT.

3.) It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia season 4!: "It's our funniest season yet, I think," said McElhenney, who'd only part with one plotline, though that one's probably enough to set the tone: "We get addicted to eating human meat."

4.) NEW ROBOT FOES FROM TERMINATOR SALVATION -- EWWW HYDRABOTS.

In other news, MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE AT DRAGON*CON? SERIOUSLY? Oh snap~ :O

The Fall is still playing in Shirlington when I thought it would be out of that theater like two weeks ago. IT IS CALLING TO ME. D:
tenel_ka: ([ teevee - one crack rock ])
Dude, I'm totally gonna write an essay comparing Jacen and Jaina Solo to Dennis and Dee Reynolds from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. CLASSIC. I mean, I would love to see the Solo twins put into some of the situation the Reynolds twins are.

DENNIS REYNOLDS (Jacen) -- Dennis is co-owner of Paddy's and Dee's twin brother. He is a vain, self-absorbed prep and a ladies' man. Dennis was popular in high school, but his prom date dumped him for another man. Despite making less than $400 a week at the bar, his family's wealth enables Dennis to wear stylish clothing and drive a Range Rover. He earned good grades at the University of Pennsylvania and minored in psychology, though his original ambition was to become a veterinarian. He listens to glam rock and Rick Astley.

(LOL LotF = RICKROLLING THE GALAXY.)

DEANDRA "SWEET DEE" REYNOLDS (Jaina) -- Dee is Dennis's twin sister and a bartender at Paddy's. She dropped out of Penn (where she had majored in psychology but failed her classes) to become an actress, but has put little effort into realizing her ambition. Although she identifies herself as a compassionate liberal, she will always put herself first and often has the same prejudices as her friends and brother. Since high school, she has had a long string of failed relationships. Like the other members of the gang, she drinks heavily, especially to calm herself after meeting an attractive man. Despite her many insecurities, Dee is aggressively outspoken and prone to violence when angered.

Let's see how these episodes would look with J&J. Complete with crack rocks, crossdressing, serial killers and FALSETTO! )

Aaaaaaand their father asking them if they're sleeping together. XD

(Charlie = Kyp cause he's so dirty, Mac = Zekk cause he thinks he so suave)

P.S. The BEATBOX commercial they did for IASIP last season is one of the best commercials I've seen in my entire life. XD
tenel_ka: ([ teevee - one crack rock ])
So this weekend was pretty lazy, yet still pretty awesome. Because lazy = awesome.

Friday night consisted of Erin, Ronnie and Alex coming over to play Rock Band (Jeremy was sick D:) -- Erin sang most of the time, because the rest of us were like "OH HELL NO I AIN'T SINGING IN FRONT OF PEOPLE." I started on drums and Ronnie on bass and Alex on guitar. Alex was playing on expert and the rest of us were pussing out and playing on like easy/medium. Why? Because we could.

I ended up singing "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria, Ronnie helped Erin out on vocals with "Ten Speed (of God's Blood and Burial)" and we made Alex sing "Wonderwall" by Oasis. So we all ended up singing at some point, which was fun. Although, Alex getting on drums and trying it on expert -- then bitching whenever one of us would save him with our overdrive and then pretty much failing "Dani California" for us = THANKS WTF.

Saturday, I pretty much sat around and watched tv and played some Rock Band. Then Saturday night Alex and I both realized we were bored and decided to watch a cheesy, horrible movie. We discussed what movie would fit that awesome genre until he asked "OMG HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE WIZARD?" I hadn't. He had it on VHS and he brought it over. Let me tell you about this movie.

The Wizard is from 1989 and it is basically a big advertisement for Universal Studios and Nintendo:

The Wizard, also known as Joy Stick Heroes, is a 1989 movie starring Fred Savage, Luke Edwards, and Jenny Lewis. The film follows three runaway children as they travel to California so the youngest, who has a condition that makes him emotionally withdrawn, can compete in the Nintendo World Video Game Championships. The movie was North America's introduction to one of the best selling video games of all time, Super Mario Bros. 3.

Seriously, I'm not lying. It's like OMG LOOK YOU JUST PAID MONEY TO SIT IN A THEATER AND YOU GOT A PEEK AT SUPER MARIO BROTHERS 3 O SHIT! I probably would've done it, what am I saying? D:

Anyways, after that awesome awesome work of art was over we ended up watching some of the episodes he hadn't seen of the third season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia -- namely, the one where Charlie almost marries a 12-year-old Korean girl, the one where Dennis and Dee's mom dies, the one where the McPoyle's hold them all hostage at Paddy's and the one where -- oh hell, THE ALUMINUM MONSTER VS. FATTY MAGOO. Which is an amazing episode, if only for the part where Dennis busts into Fatty Magoo's office at the end in his dress and makeup and lots of uber-fake boobage. "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE? *flourish*" (This was after we watched a couple episodes the night before with Erin and Ronnie like "SWEET DEE'S DATING A RETARDED PERSON" and "FRANK SETS SWEET DEE ON FIRE"~ XD)

And then after those it was like 2am. But The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was on tv. Those can't be passed up. So we watched a couple of those before he went home. Oh Will Smith, how we love thee.

Sunday was great cause my mom and I basically laid around and watched Cops all day on G4. People are so stupid. "OMG THIS WEED IN MY PANTS. UH, THESE ARE MY FRIEND'S PANTS AND I BORROWED THEM. I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS IN THERE." Dur dur dur dur dur dur durrrrrr. But I love Cops. It's like one of those shows that you watch and another episode comes on afterwards and you're like, "OKAY JUST ONE MORE." And then after that it comes on yet again and it's like, "...OKAY JUST ONE MORE THIS TIME." Because it is awesome mindless entertainment. I love watching people makes asses out of themselves while trying to get out of the fact that they broke the law. "DUR I DIDN'T DO IT, I SWEAR!!1" TOOLBOXES.

And now it is Monday. D: Luckily Monday is almost Tuesday, and by that I mean I AM HOME FROM WORK FOR THE DAY. :D
tenel_ka: ([ buster! ])
OMG HOW CUTE. I didn't even know they were dating!

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator/star Rob McElhenney proposed to cast mate Kaitlin Olson on Dec. 7 at Danny DeVito's beach house...

I also love on her myspace for books it says: "Cook books, because I am a woman and I belong in the kitchen." And the fact that she watches reruns of American Gladiators. I <3 YOU, KAITLIN.

Mac/Dee, otp?

I need an IASIP icon, I just haven't seen the perfect one yet. XD
tenel_ka: ([ kevin ])
I didn't realize they had actually made Frank a myspace page. Classic.

"I have some holdings in Asian companies" -- HAHAHAHAH~

Also, a fun clip from the show. Hurry! Before it gets taken off youtube! XD

I love this show. <3 HEART.

EEEEEEE!

TUESDAY. IT NEEDS TO GET HERE FASTER. Seriously, True Romance makes me want to dance a goth dance and squee like a little fangirl at the same time (and the lyrics are classic XD). KJFDKHDF. I love the way the cover to the new album is similar to the first one. Also, it feels like the first cd came out yesterday. BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING. <33333

In other news, Crocs are like the ugliest shoes ever. But I bought a pair for Disney. And they are so damn comfortable. O_O Ugly vs. comfortable. I gives a damn if they're ugly or not as long as my feet don't get effed while I wander around all day, I'M SET.

(jhjssdfj did anyone see It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia last night?! DIAPER TIME! ... I died laughing. XD)

HAHAHAH~

TELL ME AT LEAST ONE OF YOU WATCHED THE IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA PREMIERE.

The part where Mac and Dee were in Dee's place and they did the whole "RAISING BABY" exchange, I DIED. Both episodes were awesome.

Plus, the fact that they just named the baby Dumpster Baby. Or "DB" -- they are so wrong. XD

"PUT IT BACK IN THE DUMPSTER, IT DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU."
tenel_ka: ([ buster! ])
"The Song of Solomon" by Kate Bush is one of the prettiest songs ever. She is the only one who can write one of the prettiest songs ever and use the word "bullshit" in it. I love this woman. XD

OKAY. THIS THURSDAY. FX. 10PM. IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA. Everyone (okay, 99% of everyone) let Arrested Development die on me (with many watching it afterwards and going DAMN THIS SO FUNNY! I WISH I WATCHED IT BEFORE! ... D:) so don't let this one die too! XD

It is so racy/wrong (hitting on chicks at an abortion rally, going on welfare and buying crack aaaaand Frank [Danny Devito], implying that his children, Dennis and Dee, are in an incestuous relationship - "I DON'T WANT NO RETARDED GRANDKIDS.") and it's amazingly laughable at how stupid the characters are -- which is what they're going for. Because sadly, there are people out there EXACTLY LIKE THIS. Funniest show on the air, hands down. Yes, I even think it's funnier than Scrubs/The Office/30 Rock. So OSHI I DID THE BLASPHEMY THING. It's right under Arrested Development for funniest show ever -- but no one can take the cake away from the BLUTH FAMILY.

Plus, Dennis is an asshole. A hot, hot asshole. And don't even get me started on the episode, "Mac Bangs Dennis' Mom" -- YESSSS. Also, Charlie's America Song. Which should totally be our backup National Anthem.

The show is not scared to "go there" -- much like many shows on FX. XD

SO YES. If you are not afraid of having some unclean, unright (hahaha XD) fun, WATCH THIS SHOW.

And come on now, the beatboxing ad (Charlie sliding down the wall grinning is classic). MUCH LOVE. XD
